Stargazing trip scheduled during daylight hours LOL
Aborted our planned trip as found via hotel staff and a disappointed fellow guest that you are dropped back at hotel before it's fully dark out as it's illegal to be in the desert at night in jeeps. Booked via Get your guide, then got conflicting pick up times, originally 4pm then became 2pm for 5 hour trip. It's still light at 8:30 and we were only interested in meeting the Bedouins and recreating meeting under the stars before light pollution for our 25 year anniversary. Very disappointed. Suits people looking for dune thrills, stargazing is not possible like the photos due to light levels.

Must do when in hurghada
Great experience with very exciting tourguides. They really make it a party to join them on the trip. Arabi is very knowledgeable about the stellar system and his enthusiasm is awesome. Mustafa was a great desert driver and gave us a real thrill. Very good value for money

Nice affordable program
The climb up the hill was a little scary but not horrible glad I did it. The stars and moon were beautiful to see I thought I wouldn’t be that interested but it was nice. I only had a concern about the driver in el Gouna picking up customers. I live next to el Gouna and they have posted speeds. He hit high speeds in Elgouna and up to 95 on the dirt road coming out of the mountain . I didn’t appreciate the speed through a residential community as I drive there often and get upset at crazy drivers .., he endangered not only us but people on the roads in el Gouna . Maybe some training to both the driver and the guide who obviously knows this too .

Absolutely incredible experience!
This was an absolutely incredible experience.
The ride with a land cruiser was fun! Our driver Gon (John) made sure we had a real desert experience.
Being in the desert is just one of the most incredible experiences one can have in their life.
The vibe was amazing. Moussa has such a good energy. He told us about Bedouin life and answered many questions.
The star watching part was magnificent. We were lucky as the clouds have cleared and we could see sooo many stars.
Make sure to take the time to lie down and take it all in.
It was one of the best trips I've had.
Shout out to the whole team for organization, for their love for the work they do and for making this night so special.
Must do while in Hurghada!!!

Not one I would do again
11 people crampt in a old land cruiser, no safety belts, quite uncomfortable for such a long drive.
Trip to get to the village and back is quite long, mostly on a gravel rode, no trill of dunes, hand full of people in the village, nothing to explore there, food average, sunset was great, star gazing was good too, giude and villages were having several loud arguments with each other, quite a long and tireing tour, not one I would do again.
This was not a 'Jeep' tour

The drive to the desert is quite long, almost 2 hours, not a comfortable ride. Camel ride and the village was not exceptional but the stars are very beautiful. And we saw the moon!

Great time
We had a really great time. The picturesque atmosphere is truely special. For the price an amazing bargain. Do note that there is a short treck up to see the sunset but is not compulsory.

A Must do experience!!
The dessert is a beautiful place to feel relaxed. Watching the sun set and laying under the stars with my husband was magical. Moussa is very knowledgeable and explained each star and bedouin life. Our second visit to Egypt, best excursion so far.
