Jeep ride- very cool, nice driver (hoppaahopaaa!) Camp of the "Bedouin" was a play. Hilarious. Starry night, the most beautiful ever seen!

🌟 Star tour in Hurghada – with ups and downs 🌟

How to get there: The journey to the destination was unfortunately very bumpy and uncomfortable. We drove through a rocky desert landscape, and there was no paved road – just a hard off-road run. For a tour that apparently takes place regularly, it would really be the least to create at least a semi-comfortable path. Unfortunately, this significantly reduces the overall impression, especially for families or older participants. Bedouin visit: On a positive note, I would like to highlight the encounter with the Bedouin people. The people there were very friendly, we were warmly welcomed and could gain a little insight into their way of life – a cultural highlight. Tour guide: A big plus was our guide Alexander. He was very dedicated, helpful and provided a lot of interesting information about the country, people and the starry sky. His calm and competent nature has given the tour structure. Starry skies: Watching the starry sky was fine – but I personally hoped for a little more magic. Maybe it was the timing or the organization, but the “wow feeling” didn’t happen a bit. Nevertheless, it was nice to look at the sky far from the city lights. Organisation: Overall, the organization could definitely have been better. The process seemed a bit chaotic and improvised, especially in terms of logistics and comfort. Conclusion: If you are looking for adventure in the desert and bring a little patience, you can collect interesting impressions here. However, if you value comfort, clear procedures and a well thought-out concept, you should be aware that the tour has room for improvement. For me a mixed experience with some nice moments.

Amazing stargazing with a side of desert adrenaline!

Excellent experience and certainly a different afternoon/evening adventure! Don't be put off by the jeep just buckle up for the ride. First things first, jeeps are not air conditioned so dress accordingly and have some cash to pay the taxes when your collected. The jeep safari across the desert is bumpy yet thrilling, but more wondrous is how any driver finds there way! Miraculous! The bedouin camp is interesting, camel ride is short and sweet but give your phone to your camel guide and they take some great pics! Bedouin tea and flatbread are lovely so make sure you try. Now to watch the sunset... One thing we didn't know was we needed to ascend a small mountain for this... So our advice wear appropriate footwear! It's rocky and loose stone so take care and go slow and steady both up and down! Sunset is beautiful so it's worth it! Dinner by candlelight was lovely, food all cooked well and presented nicely. I'm fussy eater but still managed to eat! Now the stars... Simply amazing... Beautiful clear skies shared millions of stars and Adam our guide gave lots of information about stars and navigation.. Truly fascinating and something we will never forget! Then the return jeep ride, a little less bumpy on the way back. Something to note, the trip says 5 hrs approx, they didn't factor in Egyptian time so it's actually more like 6.5hrs before you are back at your hotel but it's so worth it. Big thank you to Arabi our guide and Abdul our crazy driver, both were very funny, slight adrenaline junkies but took care of us all and got us all back safe and sound!

All around perfect

Fantastic experience all round. Jeep ride was hilariously fun with all the bumps/hills - felt like a roller coaster! (Probably not great if you have back problems though!) the camel riding was great, only short ride but can’t expect much more for the total price here, the sunset view was beautiful from the mountain top and our guide Adam was very knowledgeable and funny throughout. Even trinkets were reasonably priced from the locals. Stargazing took the prize of best feature, honestly breathtaking and again very knowledgeable guides showing the constellations etc. would visit again in a heartbeat

Dreadful experience!

This is terrible!!! Absolute waste of money! Dreadful experience. They tried to squeeze us into a landrover that is like a police van. Not enough space and terrible to sit cramped for grown people for 2 hours ride there and back. No driving into sunset. We had to walk a hell of a steep path to "watch" a bit of sunset. The show was dreadful. Uninformed and just bad. Then they charged us for photos with the stars which, when we received it looks NOTHING like what they showed us and like images taken by a 5 year old. Food was mediocre and must have been ordered from outside. Just overall really terrible.

Beautiful!

Very nice adventure in jeep in the desert. Beautiful Welcoming on site and discovery of the Bedouin lifestyle. Magnificent sunset with beautiful 360° landscapes. Excellent buffet meal. Stargazing with very interesting explanations. Many thanks to the guide (Nasser). Pick-up and return times different from those indicated on the website. Actually, 4:15 - 10:15. Experience to recommend without reservation!

Awesome experience.

Throughly enjoyable experience, went into it thinking it could be 50/50 in the jeep and food but both were amazing, the photographer Ali was very approachable and a nice person. The star gazing, although being a full moon, was very informative and very interesting. Adam, who was the astronomer and tour guide was extremely impressive in his knowledge of the night sky and spoke well. 100% would do again and recommend very highly.
