A great day seeing so many amazing things. Everything was well organised. The journey was a long one on a minibus but the drivers did a great job. The tour guide Laila was enthusiastic, entertaining and knowledgeable and made the day incredible. Really enjoyed the Nile boat trip too.

We had an exciting trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Our competent guide Laila knew a lot and liked to tell about the ancient Egyptian history and culture. Please note, however, that the journey from Hurghada takes about 5 hours each way. And not just 3 hours as advertised. Therefore, it may seem that the visits to the sights are overwhelmed to keep the schedule. It was exciting to see how alabast was being processed, but the sellers were too intrusive.

Hello - top driver - only landed in the wrong bus when picking up- but was perfectly balanced! The ride was unproblematic and the time at the individual spots short - but you also want to see a lot in one day!!! The return was only at 10.10 p.m. at the hotel... A great day - absolutely recommendable!

Did Luxor in the small group excursion yesterday. We travelled from Hurghada and set off at 4.30am. With stops along the way for toilet breaks it took around 5 and a half hours. We met our guide Layla who was very knowledgeable through all off our visits to the various sites 10 out of 10 for Layla!! We set off back around 5.30pm and arrived at our hotel at 9.30pm so along day but we worth the visit!!

Very good trip - Layla the guide was very knowledgeable and willing to share her vast experience. Only minus - we had a shared pickup and waited 45 minutes for the other guests to show up.

Fantastic experience, absolutely magical places, definitely a tour to do if you go to Egypt, although from Marsa Alam the distance is considerable, about 5/6 hours by car. The organization by book tour Egypt was impeccable. Excellent value for money. The only flaw is the quality of lunch at the restaurant, but normally it is not easy to find in Egypt in the buffet catering of delicious foods. I used Egypt book tour services also in transfers to and from the airport and even in this case the drivers were punctual and the cars used comfortable.

We were very happy with our Sharm to Luxor by plane tour via Book Tour Egypt. Special mention to Laila our very knowledgeable tour guide who accommodated 3 extra historal temples (for extra fee of course) to our itinerary and every site was so well worth the visit ! We felt very happy and satisfied that we covered 7 major Luxor attractions in one day and Laila gave us the proper context and interesting information about them all. Our driver Mohammed was prompt and efficient and was by our side whenever we needed to rest our feet or grab a water bottle or snack from the minivan. Habu temple, Karnak temples were collossal and majestic .. Luxor temple after sunset was magical and beautiful. Valley of the Kings, Artisans tombs Hatshepsut temples were full of interesting hieroglyphics and history ... all so worth seeing .. once in a lifetime experience truly!

Be prepared - the drive to Luxor is a long one and bumpy, no matter how good your driver. Our whole day was 18 hours in total. However, the good news is that the early start means you get a fantastic day seeing the best of Egypt’s archeological treasures. I can’t decide if the Karnak complex or the tombs in the Valley of the Kings was the highlight - both were breathtaking. The guide Laila was excellent with great knowledge. It’s worth taking the extra boat trip on the Nile for a little bit of relaxing time in the middle of the day (€10).

Drivers and guide ok...trip itself too long if done by Hurgada! The places are still worth seeing. Restaurant included low level and the price paid too high... also had to have the Italian guide, but then after booking (when you could not cancel) you are told that there goes an extra...

We used Book Tour Egypt two years ago for our Luxor and Cairo trips. We booked Hurghada for this Xmas, so I approached them earlier this year for a bespoke Luxor tour. We had an a amazing day out yesterday, with a private mini van, drivers and a very knowledgeable tour guide. These guys have never let us down. Please consider these guys to handle your travel needs
