It was an overall good experience. Only two issues were lunch, which was just a shwarma sandwhich eaten while in the vehicle, no soft drinks. We spent time shopping at 3 expensive shops and there was pressure to rush through the museum which we did not submit to.

We had a wonderful time with our Guide Mona. She was very prompt, knowledgeable and perceptive about our preferences. She was an absolute delight to be with. If you take the tour, expect to do a lot of walking because the sights and scenes are incredible and you'd feel compelled to take it all in! It can be a lot so make sure to be hydrated and caffienated. Mona is agile and flexible and if you get her as your Guide, share your preferences. It is a great tour and I highly recommend it

Wow what an experience today was! I’m still revelling in the beauty of the day and the rich culture of the Egyptian people. Elham was the perfect tour guide, gently and carefully explaining the rich culture of prehistoric Egypt and allowing me to take it all in. After the amazing experience of the pyramids we went to a nice local restaurant to indulge in koshary which was lovely and then we attend the GEM. The GEM was a beautiful place filled with magnificent artefacts and once again Elham done a beautiful job at explaining everything and gave me as much time as I wanted to look around and take in all the beautiful pieces. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a tour of the pyramids and the museum, all in 1 day! Habeba was fantastic in ensuring we saw as much as possible whilst educating us on all the key historical elements. Habeba was so personable and really made the day such a fun filled experience! Highly recommend :)

We had a really great day on this tour and would definitely recommend it, especially for the Giza Pyramids. Our guide, Habiba, was excellent – very friendly, knowledgeable, and great around the pyramids. She did a great job explaining the history and keeping the constant sellers and people trying to sell things away from us, which made the experience much more relaxed. The hotel pickup and drop-off were a big plus and saved us the hassle of dealing with taxis and traffic ourselves. Habiba also helped us get the correct entrance tickets on the day and actually saved us some money, as we were travelling with a 14-year-old that is classified as a student. I don’t think booking the full ticket package through Viator would have allowed for that flexibility. One thing worth mentioning is that doing the Grand Egyptian Museum as part of a half-day tour isn’t really enough time. It was useful having a guide to show us the main highlights, but the museum is huge and definitely deserves more time. I don’t think it’s possible to see it all properly even with a full day. By the afternoon we were quite tired, but that was mainly due to an early start – we flew in from Sharm in the early morning. Overall, a very well organised tour with an excellent guide and a smooth, stress-free experience.
