The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

Driver was timely and got us there and returned ahead of schedule. He offered for us to stop at various sights in Aswan should that be of interest. Sometimes felt a bit pushy but it was overall fine if you are interested in this for a good price.

Los templos son impresionantes. Salimos de Aswan y en unas 3 horas llegamos a Abu Simbel y como fuimos a una hora poco habitual, los pudimos disfrutar sin apenas turistas. El conductor de Emo Tours, Shico resulto ser un gran profesional y muy atento y amable. El guía Hussein estaba en Abu Simbel y nos dió una breve explicación en los exteriores de los dos ttemplos puesto qu no se les permite la entrada en el interior. La opción de guía si quieres abaratar costes quizás la considerariamos prescindible. No dejes de visitar estos dos templos

Everything was fine, but they did not give us the water that the tour supposedly included. The journey has a stop to buy coffee or other things and to go to the bathroom, which has a cost, the same as the bathrooms in the temples, they have a cost.

We did not go to Abu Simbel but we did get a private day tour in Aswan. Our tour guide was Mr. Petro . He is an amazing guide. Very professional, direct and honest. He is very knowledgeable at his topic and he delivers his message very clearly. We visited some temple and Nubian village and we learned a lot of new details. We recommend strongly tour in Aswan with Mr. Petro.

We left Aswan at 6:00am so by the time we got to Abu Simbel the tourist buses were leaving. We ended up with the place to ourselves for an amazing visit!!!

Dudaba mucho si contratar el servicio pero ha sido todo un acierto. Tardaron 20 minutos en recogernos por un error de la ubicación pero a partir de ahí todo ha sido genial. Éramos 5 personas y nos recogieron en un minibus nuevo y limpio con aire acondicionado solo para nosotros. Los choferes fueron absolutamente geniales, nos contaban todo lo que íbamos viendo y cumplieron con los horarios establecidos. Se pueden pagar las entradas con tarjeta allí mismo. Totalmente recomendable y la mitad del precio con respecto a las excursiones del crucero. Muy contentos.

My fiancé and I booked the private day tour to Abu Simbel. I wish I knew how to spell my guide and driver's names as they were both FANTASTIC. They were on time, professional, kind, and knowledgable. To avoid crowds, I recommend starting the tour from Aswan between 0700 and 0730, which will have you arrive at 1000-1030. We were the only people at the temples when we arrived, and, at most, there was only one other couple in a temple with us at a time. It was a fantastic experience, and our guide gave us a great explanation of the site's history, answering all of my questions. Our driver was also amazing and even gave me 50 EGP to use the bathroom at the place we stopped. Very nice. I would definitely recommend this tour!
