Valley of the Kings and beyond

We had a very smooth day with Abdelwahab Saad as our guide. Driver and guide picked us up on time. We visited the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Queens, Deir el-Medina and the Habu temple. We were guided in English and could set the pace ourselves. Abdelwahab is an enthusiastic guide and knows the subject matter! Definitely recommended.

No English speaking driver; poor experience

Terrible experience. Driver Abdo knows no English. Had to translate every bit of asks. Also wasn’t able to follow what he was telling. Had to reach out to company manager Hamdy Kamal for help but that didn’t work either. Almost all drivers speak only Arabic and requesting for someone with at least workable English knowledge is ignored. Poor drivers are pushed to challenging situations while their managers are to be blamed for this cheating.

Stunning tour

I highly recommend this tour. We had a great time especially with the driver Bilal. A very kind person who accompanied us to the various sites also giving us explanations, despite not having the guide included. He drove safely, especially without racing as they usually do in Egypt. He accommodated us for every request.

Incredible trip to valley of the kings

We booked our trip through Viator and were so lucky to have Ammar as our guide. Himself and a driver picked us up from the hotel, we’re so friendly and kind, and so good with the kids. Ammar took care of everything from chilled water to our admission tickets. We visited the Valley Of The Kings (note that to visit the tombs of Seti I and Tutankhamun is an extra fee of 2000 Egyptian pounds and 750 Egyptian pounds ) and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut with a stop at an alabaster factory in the middle. It was a trip we will always remember, thank you Ammar.

Amazing tour of Egyptian history!

Our guide Abdel is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and charismatic. I am still amazed by the amount of knowledge that he has. There was not a single question that he could not answer but usually his briefings were so thorough that I didn’t have any. I will definitely recommend him to everyone that I know planning to visit Egypt.
