Did a tour today from Cairo to see Memphis, Saqqara and the pyramids with Laila. Had such an amazing day! Car was nice and air conditioned and Laila got us to the first place before the crowds. She gave such a good tour of all three places and had great knowledge about all the history. Had the best falafel for lunch! Would totally recommend this to anyone

Absolutely incredible day with our guide Laila, she was so knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of Memphis, Saqqara and Giza. Would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Egypt! She provided options throughout the day for anything additional we could see at each of the sites as well as helping us arrange a camel tour. Overall would go with Egypt Tailor made again as they were easy to organise the tour with, communicated well before we arrived and via WhatsApp the morning of the tour. Thank you so much!

We used Egypt Tailor Made for our trips to Memphis, Saqqara and the Giza Pyramids, as well as for a day tour through Islamic and Coptic Cairo. I can’t say enough good things about the tours. In particular, our guide Laila was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the entire experience alive. She was also punctual and super flexible in accommodating our time constraints and helped take us to all of the best Egyptian food we were hoping to try across two days (food in Cairo is so underrated!). It’s also worth pointing out that we felt completely safe the entire time in Cairo. If you’ve been hoping to visit the Giza Pyramids right now is really the perfect time to go as the crowds are still really reasonable. Go with Egypt Tailor Made (and Leila if you can!) and you’re guaranteed to have a magical experience!

We had a WONDERFUL day as Laila with Egypt Tailor Made took three of us on a private tour to Saqqara, Dashur, Memphis and then guided us through the Khan el-Khalili souq. She was wonderful at answering questions for us about Egyptian life, history, and culture. Laila knew all the great photo stops and would go fast when we wanted to keep moving, and slow down when we wanted to do more. You will not a better guide in Egypt than Laila!!!

We had a great time traveling with Ahmed for private tours of ancient Egypt, Egyptian museum and Coptic Cairo. He treats you like family and consistently gives you tips on how to maneuver locally. Whether it’s tips on how to haggle, protect your belongings or avoid scams. Throughout the whole day he brings great humor, knowledge and fun. He’s happy to accommodate your itinerary as you like- open to add or remove any plans. If you’re open to it, he will even take you to locations that are unscheduled.

Best travel company you can find in Egypt! Super recommended! Throughout the entire process was very easy to organize and communicate with everyone involved, responses were always fast and no detail of the schedule was left behind! As for our guide, Heba, she is awesome! Such a lovely person and she has such a deep knowledge about the Egyptian history, we were able to get a lot of information! Also, she helped us a lot getting to know the places to grab food and where to go out in Cairo. She also managed to make the schedule flexible enough where we had more than enough time to take pictures and walk around. Definitely would ask for her again when we come another time to Egypt.

Laila has a deep knowledge of Egyptology, impeccable English, and a true desire to offer as comprehensive of a picture of Egyptian history and culture as her guests desire. Mohammed, is a great and attentive driver, extremely punctual and infatigable. In a few short days, we sampled Cairo. We felt extremely safe and welcomed. I originally booked the Half Day Private Tour of the Giza Pyramids with Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours. So glad I changed it to the Full Day Private Tour adding on Saqqara & Memphis. I was worried the day would be too long with a full day tour but the day flew by. Sabry was the best tour guide we've ever had. Before arriving to each site, he asked if we would like history of the site we're visiting. Sabry was very knowledgeable and gave the perfect amount of information without being overbearing or talking our ears off. My kids were engaged the whole time and learned so much about the history of Egypt, an experience they will never get through classroom learning. A bonus we were not expecting, the PHOTOS!!! Sabry took so many amazing photos for us. I'm not creative so I appreciated the different ideas he gave us. It was like having our own private photographer. Lol! Sabry made sure we were happy with all our photos before moving to the next site. We were able to go at our own pace through the whole tour. As a female traveling with my two teens, I was completely comfortable on our tour and Sabry felt more like a friend than a tour guide. He looked out for us and took care of everything on the tour. He even provided recommendations for the rest of our stay (museums, restaurants, activities) and he was available to answer any questions I had throughout our trip, even after the tour was over. My friend and I had a full day Pyramids tour booked through the company “Egypt Tailor Made” with tour guide Laila. We were so lucky to have her show us around the different pyramids in Cairo! She is extremely knowledgeable about the sites, attentive, kind, and truly anticipated our every need. She got us smaller bills exchanged even before we met, cold water when we were heat exhausted, snacks when we were hungry, warned us about vendors that were trying to haggle us, informed us which sites had additional fees, and catered to our interests and found a different lunch site when my friend said he wanted to try Koshary. She took great photos of us as well! Truly the best tour guide I have had here in Egypt! Our driver Mustafa was so polite and always had a bright smile on. He helped me open the door whenever we were getting back to the car (something other tour drivers do not tend to do) and was very nice. They were both very accommodating and fit our tour sites into the day even though we were late to meeting them. If you are visiting Cairo I highly recommend Laila and Mustafa. Could not have asked for a better team for our tour! Ask for them! We discovered “Egypt Tailor Made” actually through online reviews much like this one from other travelers. I loved that we could customize our tour to whatever we would like. Mr. Fathy made the whole process seamless. The tour company also messaged me through WhatsApp the night before to confirm the details and introduce our guide Laila who was responsive even the day before we met! Amazing !! Our tour included a visit to the pyramids in Dashur, the pyramids in Saqqara, a visit to Memphis, and the pyramids in Giza + camel ride & the Sphinx. It was difficult to find a tour that would cover all of the sites in one day that I wanted to see but Egypt Tailor made did it! It was a great time and we got to go inside and explore in 5 of the pyramids! A dream come true. They also did not bring us to any extra sites that we did not want to go to or pressure us to buy anything like some other tour companies would which we appreciated. Thank you to the whole team for a phenomenal time!
