  2. Qasr El Nil Bridge
    Przejazd obok

The Qasr el Nil Bridge (originally named Khedive Ismail Bridge, Egyptian Arabic: Asr el Nil Bridge), is a historic swing bridge structure dating from 1931 which replaced the first bridge to span the Nile River in central Cairo, Egypt.[2] It connects Tahrir Square in Downtown Cairo on the east bank of the river, to the southern end of Gezira/Zamalek Island. At the bridge's east and west approaches are four large bronze lion statues; they are late 19th-century works by Henri Alfred Jacquemart, a French sculptor and animalier.

  3. Sixth of October Bridge
    Przejazd obok

The 6th October Bridge (Arabic: كوبري 6 أكتوبر, Kubri 6(sadis) uktubar) is an elevated highway in central Cairo, Egypt. The 20.5-kilometre (12.7 mi) bridge and causeway crosses the Nile twice from the west bank suburbs, east through Gezira Island to Downtown Cairo, and on to connect the city to other highways that lead to the Cairo International Airport to the east. Its name commemorates the date of 'The Crossing', which commenced the outbreak day of the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

  4. Zamalek
    Przejazd obok

Zamalek (Arabic: الزمالك pronounced [ez.zæˈmæːlek], al zamalek) is a qism (ward) within the West District (hayy gharb) in the Western Area of Cairo, Egypt.[1] It is an affluent man-made island that geologically is part of the west bank of the Nile River, with the bahr al-a'ma (Blind Canal) cut during the second half of the 19th Century to separate it from the west bank proper.[2] The northern third has been developed into a residential area, which was home to 14,946 people during the 2017 census.[3] The southern two-thirds are mostly sports grounds and public gardens, a stark green reserve in the middle of Cairo. The island is connected with the river banks by four bridges: the Qasr El Nil Bridge, the Galaa Bridge, the 15 May Bridge, and the 6th October Bridge.

  5. Cairo Opera House
    Przejazd obok

The opera house was inaugurated on 10 October 1988. The funds for the complex were a gift from the nation of Japan to Egypt as a result of President Hosni Mubarak's visit to Japan in April 1983. Construction began in May 1985 and lasted for three years.[1] In October 1988, President Mubarak and Prince Tomohito of Mikasa, the younger brother of the Japanese Emperor, inaugurated the National Cultural Centre Cairo Opera House. It was the first time for Japan to stage a Kabuki show, a traditional popular drama with singing and dancing, in Africa or the Arab World.

The idea of establishing Al Ahly came in the first 10 years of the 20th century and was first raised by Omar Lotfy who was a student in the Egyptian Law School during his presidency of the High School Students Club, which was established in 1905. The establishment of a club for high school students was for political reasons, and the students needed a sports club to gather them for leisure and exercise.

A moment out of time, magic!

I booked this event to spend a moment together and it was just amazing! I strongly advise you to book the 9pm slot because you have all the building lights on and now it feels like New York! Serve impeccable and perfect care! Congratulations to the whole organization 👍

Cacelled

Only because they canceled my time slot. They had good communication, and was enough in advance, very polite, offered options and everything, just unfortunate they canceled and only had very late time available.

Awkward experience on a private child birthday party boat

Unfortunately this was not the experience we were expecting based on the description. We arrived confused as the boat appeared to be booked for a private event for a child’s birthday party with party decorations all around the boat. We were told that this was the correct boat for our booking so we got on board. We were the only guests no a part of the private party of approximately 40-45 people, 3/4 of which were children under the age of 10. It was an awkward and uncomfortable experience to say the least as the guests continually looked at us confused, wondering why we were in their private event boat. We were completely ignored the 30 mins of the ride and we had to speak to the manager to get any service. The only reason this I am not giving a 1 is because the assistant manager upon recognizing the awkward situation went above and beyond to provide us the best service possible for the remainder of the cruise. It was disappointing that we provided feedback to the company upon request the next day and after sharing the poor experience, we never received any response. It’s very telling that they did nothing in response. They just want money and do not value the customer experience (excluding the assistant manager mentioned).

Great VIP tour in Giza for pyramid

I travelled by myself a took VIP tour in Giza for pyramids. Gamal (guid) and Hany (driver) took very good care of me, starting from picking me up from the hotel, taking to pyramids, all tickets were included, everything was super smooth. Gamal took lots of amazing memorable pictures and knew exactly the right angles etc. they also took me to papyrus shop and jewellery store where they do hieroglyphs name inscription. And we finished in a nice restaurant with a good selection of healthy food

Nothing amazing

Nothing wrong with the tour - the boat is nicer than most, staff is friendly. But its not something i would do again. Pickup and dropoff was perfect, and the boat tour lasted 2 hours. There is live music on board, which brings a bit of life. There was food, we did not get that but it didn’t look “wow” - overall the activity is fine, a bit long and if you’re with younger kids they’ll get bored

Very nice!

Very nice boat, Very friendly staff. Didn't book food but looked good. For a short trip to relax very nice. If you expect a real cruise on the Aida is not right here. The other providers for significantly less money only leave briefly and hardly leave the spot. Have booked the 5:30 p.m. in not being late to the hotel, next time the later date. Good value for money. 👍👍👍
