Hend was awesome! She knew all the right places to bring us for fun photos and she is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Egypt. She catered the tour to what we found interesting. If you don’t want to buy papyrus and oils let her know, but it was interesting to see the plant and process for making it.

Pensavo che la piccola escursione con il cammello mi portasse sui fianchi delle piramidi e invece e’stata un’esperienza solo per le foto. Suggerisco di evitarla. Ho scelto extra programma di visitare la camera sepolcrale. Sconsiglio di farlo: carissimo e insignificante. Landscape Piramide Sfinge molto belli. Nuovo museo Egizio super top. Dovendo rifare l’escursione userei 2/3 del tempo al museo. Driver e guida molto professionali. Pranzo a buffet sufficiente. A conti fatti, escursione un po’ cara (direi 25% meno sarebbe stato più equo) anche se e’ impagabile avere driver privato.

we had an amazing day visiting the pyramids of Giza and the new Grand Egyptian museum (GEM) on our layover in Cairo. Our guide Mohammed Elshemei and driver Ahmed were waiting for us on arrival. The communication prior to pick up was clear and prompt. Mohammed is an egyptologist and is extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about Egypt’s history. Even though our tour was shortened by our delayed departure arrival, Mohammed made sure our visit to the pyramids and the Sphinx was relaxed, very informative and did not feel rushed.
