His knowledge, his way of explaining and the passion with which he transmits the story make the experience unique. Extraordinary experience with Ph.D. in the Pyramids Our trip to the Pyramids of Egypt was a memorable experience with our tour guide, Dr Fatimah. Professional, upscale, knowledgeable of Egyptian history, who knows how to bring the knowledge in an easy and enjoyable way. Our trip is an archaeological visit, and it’s a beautiful story that we live every moment. Her attention to detail, patience, smile, and comfort throughout the tour is something to thank. She gave us accurate information and answered all questions with great pleasure, and she knew the best angles for photography and the best times to move, making our experience much better. This trip to Pyramids of Giza and Great Egyptian Museum was better than the best; comfortable and complete with a caring tour guide named Ahmad. We couldn’t believe that even kids were entertained and excited! Ahmad gave us a reasonable dose of history and Egyptology that made the tour even more fascinating. Cherry on top, he is an amazing photographer too! Much appreciated Ahmad and his team. The driver (sorry don’t remember his name waited for long hours for us to finish. Thanks to him.) Strongly recommended.

We sprang for a private guide for our trip to the new Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza pyramids, and are so glad we did. Habeba, our guide, was the finest I’ve encountered in all the decades I’ve been traveling internationally. She listened carefully, responded thoughtfully, and while she offered us the opportunity to tailor our trip, we were only too happy to follow her lead. She has a deep knowledge of antiquities and of the sites and artefacts, and her enthusiasm for the material shines through. While remarkably effective and efficient in navigating the crowds at the GEM, she was always patient with us, and throughout maintained her light sense of humor. Our driver, Ahmed, was excellent, too—always there on the dot to meet us, replenishing snacks and water during each stop. A wonderful experience!

We had the immense good fortune of being assigned Habeba as our tour guide and Ahmed as our driver. Both are superb professionals. Ahmed navigated the congested Cairo roads smoothly and with good humor. The car was stocked with snacks and bottled water (replenished after each stop). And we never had to wait for him to pick us up after a site visit—he was always there (fantastic communication between guide and driver). And Habeba is an absolute star! Among the very best tour guides I’ve had throughout a long lifetime of travel. Super organized, efficient, and deeply knowledgeable of Egyptian history. The order of visits—camel ride, pyramids, sphinx, lunch, Grand Egyptian Museum—was perfect. She shared information in an approachable (and sometimes funny) way so it was never boring. She is also uncannily talented at getting around crowds on the way to the perfect spot for viewing a monument or artifact, and for taking the perfect photo. She also listens carefully and empathetically. Upon learning we had just arrived from Luxor, she tailored the tour to complement rather than duplicate our time there. She took us to lunch at a restaurant that was ideally suited to our dietary restrictions. She was happy to make time for the kind of shopping we were interested in, but didn’t push us to any particular factories or vendors. We came to trust her implicitly, even getting advice on how to appropriately tip while in Egypt. Friendly and outgoing, she was never overbearing. We were immensely fortunate to arrive in Cairo shortly after the full opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum—and to have Habeba lead us through it! Shukran, Habeba and Ahmed!

The tour was amazing! Ahmed and Fatima were the best. We saw everything, we went to the Pyramids, we did ATV in dessert. Fatima explained everything in detail and she was very helpful. As for Ahmed he is the best driver you can find in Egypt for sure!! The experience was the best and I totally recommend it!

We purchased our tickets at home before we went to Egypt from the museums site so only paid what they cost , we got an uber to and from the museum. What a beautiful place , we spent most of the day in the museum , we could take our time and look at things for as long or short as we wanted without the rush of a guided tour , there are so many areas to explore that we couldn’t manage to look at everything , there are also very reasonably priced cafes in the museum to keep your strength up to experience more of the place . King tut exhibition is a must see part .
