This was a phenomenal trip! It was amazing walking inside the tombs and temples. Remon was a fountain of knowledge and really made the day great. The day is long but worth it!

Your guide will begin by picking you up at your hotel in Cairo or Giza in an air-conditioned car. From there, you will travel to the Cairo airport to be flown Luxor. Upon your arrival, your guide will be waiting for you with sign of your name. In Luxor, you will visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, original burial site of the boy King Tutankhamun where the magnificent Tombs were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs, and have the opportunity to visit three Tombs. The three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs prior to your visit. King Tut’s tomb is with extra ticket. then you will have lunch falafel sandwich , one bottle of water , soft drink

Continuing on to visit Hatshepsut’s Temple at El Deir El Bahary. This impressive Temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut the only female Pharaoh, which rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs. On the return journey stop-off at the Colossi of Memnon, 2 gigantic statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile.

Then Karnak temple the largest temple ever built, Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes, visit the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, see the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, and witness the temple of Amon, adorned with exquisite lotus and papyrus designs.

move to Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. It was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu together representing the Theban triad. Enjoy visiting Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. At the end of your tour, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo and taken to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Luxor day trip
This is a tough one to appraise fairly. Our guide, Basim, was truly exceptional. He was knowledgeable and considerate. Plus he navigated the trip in a way to maximise our time. Basim was also very sensitive to my children’s needs. He allowed us to dictate the pace. Thanks to Basim’s ingenuity, we enjoyed the experience. I cannot fault Basim. He is one of the best guide’s I have had the privilege of being led by. However, I would not recommend this trip for families. It is too long a day. We were not advised in advance that Egypt Air flights are customarily unreliable. Often late. Because you end up at the mercy of the flights, the trip is lengthened unnecessarily. Overall a bit stressful as a family. We cut the trip short to spend a few hours in a luxury hotel. That was the best call I made. Our flight back to Cairo was then delayed which was simply not fun. You can do this as adults. Even then I think it is a bit much. Definitely not recommended for families. But I would reiterate that our guide Basim is exceptional! But for him, this would have been a disaster for us.

Phenomenal tour!!
Our tour guide was Remon and he was VERY knowledgeable and thorough about Egyptian history. We had a great time learning about ancient Egyptian history and touring the different sites. Remon was able to answer any question that I had. He was also willing to take us anywhere else that we would have wanted to go that was not on the itinerary. I highly recommend booking this tour!!!

Perfect!
We had a great time with Remon as our guide! We saw all the sites in an appropriate amount of time and Remon was so knowledgeable. The van was perfect and air conditioned well in the heat. would reccomend it to everyone. Thanks Remon for the great day!!!!

Wow just wow!
Wow just wow! Worth every second of it! Truly amazed and in awe of our guide Raymon and then sights in Luxor. A must for anyone considering doing Luxor from Cairo. Keep in mind- It was a long day but it was by far our trip highlight. Also be weary of the time of year you are going. We went in Early June and it was 107° F.

Such An Awesome Experience.
I originally second guessed doing this excursion due to having to get up so early and knowing it was going to be a long day; so glad I decided to go! We stayed in Cairo but wanted to get the most out of our trip to Egypt and this tour did just that! Everything was so organized, and communication was never an issue. Our guide, Remon, was awesome, he was so knowledgeable and passionate; he even went as far as using a laser pointer to make sure we were able to see details and help explain the significance of things. IT WAS HOT! The temperature got up to 111 degrees while we were there; so be prepared for that. Despite it being extremely hot it did not take away from all the breathtaking sites and monuments we got to see/experience. Even though it was a long day everything went at a great pace. Our driver was even great; he was prompt, safe, and had a great personality as well. I highly recommend this trip!

Day Trip to Luxor from Cairo with Guide Dina
Dina was amazing! She was knowledgeable, professional and extremely nice. The driver in Luxor, George, was professional and the car was very clean. The trip to and from the airport with Moaz was flawless. Would highly recommend!

Adventure in Luxor
We had an incredible time on this tour. Seeing the sights on both banks of the Nile was unforgettable. Our guide Remon made this trip even better, offering wonderful insights and knowledge at each stop of our journey. Would absolutely recommend.

Luxor Tour
The views were absolutely amazing. It’s one thing to look at pictures of Luxor but to see all of the historical monuments in-person was absolutely breathtaking. On the tour I was fortunate enough to have Dina as a tour guide. Hands down the best tour guide I have ever had. As an outsider, Dina made me feel like family/friend first and a tourist second. Dina was very well-versed in Egyptian history and did an excellent job of relaying the information. During the tour we had the privilege to go to an Egyptian cotton and stone store where the goods were made by hand which was very interesting to see. Overall it was an excellent tour and would highly recommend to others to make the trip over to Luxor if time permits.

Luxor Day Trip was incredible.
The sights are incredible. I had high expectations and they were exceeded. Our tour guide Remon is an expert with a passion for history. We almost didn’t do this add on to our trip and I’m so glad we did.
