Said and his driver picked us up at our apartment and spent almost the whole day with us. We visited all the mentioned sites, Said gave us much background information on history and also on current developments in Egypt. We did the tour in Russian language. In the whole we spent around 6 hours for the program. The guys helped us with pictures too and answered all the questions. So, we would recommend this one.

On Thursday, the 3rd of November we were visiting Memphis and Sakkara. Our guide, Fatma, welcomed us very warmhearted in the lounge of our hotel. From the first moment we became familiar with her. It is remarkable, that she was speaking German like a native speaker. Therefore we felt at ease to hear all the explanations in our native language, when our driver brought us safely through the heavy traffic of the city and the off-road at Sakkara as well. Fatma showed outstanding competence concerning the objects we were interested in. She informed us, also about the daily life in Cairo and in the rural surroundings, in a way, that was beyond the normal dimension of her duty as a guide. We took leave of her very hearty and very thankful

The tour was just as promised. Communication was perfect and the driver turned up on time at exactly the location we had requested. The driver was very polite and accommodating. The car was neat and clean.

WE GOT SCAMMED. Our guide brought us to an aromatherapy store afterward where we sampled essential oils. They were very expensive but we thought it was worth it because of the “quality”. We spent $200 just to find the oils were heavily DILUTED from the ones we sampled. We looked at reviews and this place has been doing this for 10 years or more. I’m very upset with this tour and our guide. We should get a refund for having to go through this. Ridiculous. We did the tour Thursday 10/20 at 9 AM for reference.
