Disappointing excursion
A very disappointing experience, mainly due to the guide's attitude.
Due to a misunderstanding on our part, we asked him if it was appropriate to pay an additional €15 for the service in Spanish for the two of us. He confirmed to us that it was, and we paid him. Later we discovered that this additional charge did not apply to our excursion.
The worst part happened in Memphis. The guide took us to a place that he himself assured us was "trustworthy." Before buying, we expressly asked him if the price was right and he told us yes. We ended up paying 40 USD for two small pyramids that we later discovered cost less than 2 USD.
Of course we take responsibility for our part for having trusted and not having checked the price, but one comes to Egypt and hires a guide precisely to avoid these types of situations, not to end up experiencing them at the hands of the guide himself.
We even left him a tip at the end of the excursion, because at that moment we believed he had been honest with us. Finding out after all this made the experience even more unpleasant.
Furthermore, on a historical level, the explanations could have been much better. The day before, we had taken another excursion with an excellent guide, who not only explained things very well but was also attentive to us and took care of us throughout the entire tour, so the difference was very evident.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend this excursion.

Needs improvement
Did the driver and audio tour. I texted them about there being no audio. They sent a link to a website to find and listen to guides for the places. Was too confusing to find the right guides for the places I was going to. Just walked around no audio guide. Would not recommend company. Driver was nice, but wanted to take me to bazars and carpet sellers. Probably in cahoots with dealers (like many) to get a percentage of what you may spend.

Recommended trip!
Very nice trip to Sakkara, Dahschur and Memphis. Our guide told us very interesting things about the pyramids and had an answer for every question.

For the price it is very...
For the price it is very good. We chose a driver and audio guide. No commercial stops. The driver asks but you say no and he continues on his way, he does not insist. Very kind and helpful. We visited Saqqara, saw the general area and the Serapeum, in Dahshur the Red Pyramid, going inside, and the Bent Pyramid from afar. In Memphis we saw the Ramses II complex. Everything without rushing. But the air conditioning only at the end and there was no water. Anyway, highly recommended.

Everything was magnificent
A magnificent experience. Saw the pyramids in Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis.. Very hot. Our guide was wonderful and so was the driver. Highly recommended.

Great family tour of Saqqara and Memphis.
The guide and the driver were very kind, with very good explanations in perfect English. The guide adapted to our pace so that we could admire the different sites.

Magnificent experience
Our guide was Abdul, he picked us up on time at the hotel and we began the adventure. The excursion was wonderful and the guide was great (incredible that he has only been learning Spanish for 2 years!!!). The guy who was driving was also super kind and made us feel very safe. When we finished the excursion we went to a very delicious place to eat. 100% recommended, a thousand thanks to Abdul and the driver (whose name I don't remember).

Exceptional experience!
Exceptional experience! Tour guide, Mahmoud is one of the best I've come across and I do lots of tours. He had such a great energy and excellent storytelling, explaining the history with flare and bringing the stories to life. He connected the dots from place to place as we went from Saqqarah to Dashur to Memphis. He built trust, maintained engagement and personalized the tour as we stopped at shops for souvenirs and gifts. Between Mahmoud & driver Mohammed, I felt like I was hanging out with and learning from my brothers all day. Not a fan of this tour company but their guides are really good. The sites are remarkable and have been for millennia but it takes a great tour guide to make the experience meaningful. Thanks Mahmoud!

Great trip to Memphis and Saqqara — no formal guide, just a driver, but he was genuinely helpful throughout!
Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, was fascinating to see — the statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx were definite highlights. The site is small but full of history, and even without a guide it was easy to appreciate on our own.
Saqqara was even more impressive than expected — the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the earliest stone structures in the world, was incredible to see up close. Much less crowded than Giza, so we could explore at our own pace without feeling rushed.
Highlights:
- Our driver was friendly and helpful — pointed things out, gave useful context, and made sure we didn't miss anything important
- A relaxed, flexible pace since we weren't tied to a group or fixed guide schedule
- The chance to go down into some of the tombs and see hieroglyphs and wall paintings up close
The only downside was the midday heat — bring water and a hat. Overall, a smooth and well-organized day, even without an official guide. The driver's help made a real difference, and I'd definitely recommend this option for travelers who prefer a more independent experience.

I don't want you to show me souvenir shops that you don't want. Others are good.
They showed us around Suckerla, Dahshur and Memphis efficiently, which was very difficult to get to on our own, and the time was very good.
However, it was completely unnecessary to be led to the local souvenir shop carpet shop, even though I didn't want to, because I was tired and not interested. This is a negative point.
