As per requested time will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and drive to the south of Aswan which is around 3hrs drive to enjoy Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

Well worth the long drive - Abu Simbel is one of the most impressive sites I have visited, absolutely incredible. The history was brought to life by our lovely guide, Mariam Luka. Mariam was enthusiastic and seemed genuinely interested in her job and Abu Simbel, explaining the key people involved and the ambitious project to move the whole temple to higher ground to avoid flooding. Highly recommend this trip!

Abu Simbel was cool and Mohammed was very nice but I felt like we didn’t get as much information as we could have and it was also a long drive and pretty hot. It was also much more expensive than some of the much better experiences we had

Muy cómodo el transporte con un chofer excepcional . Se debería mejorar la información del guía que fue un poco insuficiente , no contagia la grandeza del lugar.

Der Fahrer war sehr freundlich. Er war pünktlich und erklärte unterwegs Wissenswertes über Ägypten. Der deutsche Führer war angeblich nicht da, der englische erklärte ca. 10 min. beim Modell die beiden Tempel. Die Tempel waren sehr beeindruckend.

Alleen een chauffeur boeken is genoeg. Wij zijn op verzoek om 8 uur opgehaald. Auto was mooi op tijd. De rit verliep zonder problemen. Chauffeur heeft netjes gewacht en ons na 2 uur weer veilig terug gebracht. Boek om 8 uur. Dan kom je rond 11-11.30 aan in Abu Simbel. De meeste toeristen zijn dan weg en na 10 minuten hadden we beide tempels bijna helemaal voor ons zelf.

It's a bit expensive but otherwise it was okay... I think you can easily find the same service for 1/5 of that price. The only reason we booked in advance was because of the uncertainty... The chauffeur was nice and he let us explore in peace. Don't expect anything else, it's just the price of a ride, 2 bottles of water and a soda.

Fuimos todo el trayecto a 150km/h por una carretera de doble sentido y no en las mejores condiciones, adelantando camiones y autobuses mientras el conductor hablaba por el móvil. Uno de los cinturones traseros del coche no funcionaba y ya lo sabían previo al inicio del viaje. Al llegar a abu Simbel, el guía nos explico de forma muy escueta la historia de ambos templos, siendo totalmente prescindible.

Una gita di un giorno semplicemente perfetta con una guida, Mariam, davvero eccezionale. Siamo stati attesi in perfetto orario al nostro punto di incontro, la vettura pulitissima, le tappe di sosta veramente accurate, così come la precisione nel rispetto degli orari e la possibilità di condividere anche dei momenti conviviali con la nostra guida. Abu Simbel è uno spettacolo inimmaginabile, reso ancora più indimenticabile dalle preziose informazioni che ci ha fornito Mariam. Un tour indimenticabile!

Great experience, Abu Simbel is what we liked the most about our trip to Egypt. Our driver Ahmed was extremely polite and efficient, very grateful for his great professionalism. On the other hand, the guide that we had, we did not like it too much, few explanations and in a hurry, it seemed that he was in a great hurry to take another group (I do not remember his name), but the visit to this incredible place is very worth it.
