Although it was an enjoyable it was very long it said 6am start but in fact pick up time was 3.35am and not back until 1am. Make sure you take at least £20 per person with you for camel/horse ride and Nile boat trip. Our guide Fahney was a good guide lots of information, if you’ve not seen the pyramids it is worth it but the museum has been modernised but extent busy so no much time to get around it in the 3 hours given..

Hi all Pick up was punctual, we were greeted and transfer to the airport, Sharm airport was efficient and the staff involved were polite and helpful, same with arrival at Cairo, Ali the driver was top notch 👊🏻, our tour guide Mustafa was very polite and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour. He helped with all purchases and kept the sellers in line! Traditional Egyptian Lunch was a privilege as was as authentic as you can get in a private place no other tourists. The New Grand museum was amazing, Mustafa was so good and always made time for our family in every aspect. We also were taken to few other places on route between the Pyramids, Lunch and the Grand Museum. The return was as seemless Thanks again All 👊🏻

We booked the Sharm to Cairo Excursion by Flight for our family of 8, and while some parts of the trip were organized well, overall the experience was mixed and not very memorable. Positives: The pickup and drop-off arrangements were smooth and punctual, which was appreciated, especially when traveling with a large family. The Nile boat trip was enjoyable and relaxing, and it added a nice touch to the overall itinerary. The main sites themselves are, of course, impressive and worth seeing at least once. Negatives & Concerns: Unfortunately, the Grand Egyptian Museum visit was far too short—only about one hour, which felt rushed and insufficient for such a world-class museum. Instead of giving us more time there, we were required to return early to the assembly point. What was most disappointing was the unnecessary one-hour stop at “Kings Ali perfume oil”, which felt like a pure commission stop arranged by the guide. The oils were extremely expensive (our family spent over £300), and despite being told the scent would last a long time, it didn’t even last 30 minutes - something we only realized after returning home. This stop felt like a scam, and we would much rather have spent that hour at the museum. Similarly, the guide strongly advised us not to buy souvenirs anywhere except from his recommended sellers, claiming others would scam us. In reality, it felt like the opposite. At the recommended souvenir shop, prices were increased by around 50% once the guide approached, clearly due to his commission. Nearby shops sold the same items at much lower prices. ⚠️ Beware of guide-recommended shops—they often include heavy commissions. It also became very obvious that the guide earned commission from everything, including camel rides, souvenir vendors, oil shops, and painting tours. These stops felt forced and unnecessary. Vendors near the Pyramid area in general are best avoided, as prices are inflated and pressure is high. The buffet lunch was another letdown - below average in quality and not particularly enjoyable. Overall: While the sites themselves were okay, the experience was over-commercialized, rushed, and focused too much on guide commissions rather than guest satisfaction. This tour could have been much better if time had been spent on cultural highlights like the Grand Museum instead of business-oriented stops. Good logistics and iconic sights, but poor time management and excessive commission-driven stops took away from the experience. Advice for future travelers: Avoid buying anything from guide-recommended shops Be cautious with perfume oil and “included” shopping stops Push for more time at museums rather than commercial locations

Information from the tour operator was very good, helpful and kept in contact. Picked up on time, assisted at the airport, again found our rep easily in Cairo. I did a short trip on the nile, the pyramids which was fascinating,as well as a horse & carriage ride. Dinner was included which was tasty, then the GEM museum which is huge, you will not cover it in one day,be patient as it's busy. We also had the usual shop stops,to entice us into buying stuff,it's up to you. Bring plenty of Egyptian pounds for tips. Our guide was funny & knowledgeable and Cairo is an absolutely crazy city.
