Great service for tours in Sharm el Sheikh
I booked 2 tours trough Sharm Smile online which I will review separately below.
Regarding the tour operator services think no more, just book with Sharm Smile - 5 stars - for services, efficacy, friendliness and easy to book and communicate. I liked that I could book online very easy and there was no advance payment. We payed both tours cash in $ during our first tour. I liked that I didn't have to meet prior to our tour with anyone to make the payment, like I read for other tour operators. Also, the second I booked, I received a message on What's up from the owner to confirm the booking and also, I could communicate with him regarding meeting hours or any other information while in Egypt prior to our tours very easily and in real time. It's reassuring o communicate with a real person and not an automated reply.
First tour: Private sightseeing of Sharm - 4,5 stars - great tour organised by Mohamed the owner, great to get to know the city, good information provided, lots of time to explore. I would suggest to book the 18:00 tour, as we booked the 20:00 one and were just a bit too tired to really enjoy it, also if you're not an all inclusive, take it as soon as you get in Sharm so you can choose what part of the city you like to hang out later. You get to see 3 very different parts of Sharm. I liked the first the most, the Old Town - very authentic, Egyptian feel and an incredibly photogenic mosque and bazaar like stalls. You have at least 1 h to explore on your own and it's more than enough. The vendors are not aggressive at all. The second part is a mall, which I found a bit tacky but has a nice view and the third the Soho area - very touristic, westernized, not authentic - liked it the least, but I imagine the average European tourist would probably like this area the most for eating and hanging around. The only thing I would have liked more is to maybe see Sharks bay too; I would have liked that more than Soho.
Second tour - Star gazing and beduin dinner in the desert - 3 stars - not organized by Sharm Smile. This tour is sold by many operators in Sharm and basically it's the same tour, only the booking process and transfer is organized separately by tour operators. The transfer was on time, guide very nice, the experience was interesting, but not exactly what I expected. The good part was that all the people were really nice and the experience of being in the dessert and eating fresh made beduin bread by a beduin was interesting. The beduin camp was interesting, but not necessarily authentic. Also the diner served was good and tasty. What I regret is taking the camel ride, which is optional and I would not recommend it, because the camels didn't look well taken care of and the one leading the camel was a very small child. I felt awful. I know they are beduins and there are cultural differences but I can not endorse child labor and had I known, I would have skipped the camel ride. Don't take it or take the quad. Also the desert was not as expected: it's not sandy, there are no dunes, just dust and pebbles, and it's very polluted with plastic, which is sad to see. Also, if you go in December, take note it may be swimming suit weather in daytime, but at night in the dessert it's freezing cold. I had 2 sweaters and pants and still was very cold. A wind jacket would have been good.

Interessante
Nabil mi ha mostrato tutti i punti più interessanti della città, dandomi un sacco di informazioni su storia e cultura del posto. Molto gentile, preciso, parla benissimo italiano. Mi ha insegnato anche alcune parole in arabo. Consigliatissimo per farsi un'idea di Sharm El Sheik all'arrivo.

Wie kan je beter door Sharm en zijn geschiedenis leiden dan een echte archeoloog!
Ik boekte de Sharm-sightseeingtour en Nabil was vriendelijk genoeg om mijn boeking te accepteren, hoewel ik de enige persoon op de tour was! Toen hij me vertelde dat hij een opgeleide archeoloog was, wist ik dat deze tour bijzonder zou worden. Nabil gaf echt geweldig inzicht in de verschillende plaatsen die we bezochten, inclusief details die alleen een echte local zou weten. Hij heeft me nooit overweldigd met informatie en zijn stijl is ontspannen, vriendelijk en aanspreekbaar, totaal anders dan monotone gidsen en hun gebruikelijke scripts. Hij was buitengewoon open over zowel de goede als de slechte dingen van Sharm (omdat zelfs de kleinste stad ze heeft), door de historische, politieke, religieuze en sociale gebeurtenissen en figuren die de stad hebben gevormd grondig uit te leggen, en dit was precies wat ik wilde . Hij liet me beseffen dat Sharm meer is dan alleen een badplaats. Vijf sterren voor Nabil voor het geven van een geweldig beeld van de insider over de "Parel van de Rode Zee".

Geweldige tour !!
Ik wil Mohammed bedanken voor zijn oprechte inspanningen om deze tour zo geweldig mogelijk te maken. Het was zeer informatief en een compleet nieuwe ervaring voor mij. We hebben bijna heel Sharm El Sheikh gedekt en ik ben erg blij dat ik deze specifieke tour heb gekozen. Ik zou aanraden om deze tour aan het begin van je reis te maken, zodat de reiziger een compleet beeld krijgt van wat Sharm te bieden heeft!

Sensationell !!
Die Tour mit Nabil war sensationell. Ich habe sehr viel, in und über Sharm El Sheikh gesehen und erfahren. Die wunderbarsten Plätze auch hoch über Sharm El Sheikh wurden mir durch Nabil gezeigt. Das Treiben rund um den Basar und zum schönen Abschluss der SOHO Square den man unbedingt schon alleine wegen der tollen Wassershow besuchen muss. Danke an Nabil für die Freundlichkeit und die wahnsinnig tollen Eindrücke von Sharm El Sheikh.

A ne surtout pas rater!!!
Excellente visite réalisée cette après-midi et en plus en VIP car j’étais toute seule.
Mohamed Nabil est un guide très professionnel qui connaît parfaitement l’histoire de cette ville et qui a à cœur de vous faire découvrir plein de choses typiques.
En plus, des moments de quartiers libres sont laissés pour faire du shopping au old market ou pour profiter de Soho Square.
Merci vivement Nabil pour cette journée, j’en sais beaucoup maintenant sur cette ville.
Je vous recommande vivement cette visite.

Geweldige tour
Mijn dochter en ik gingen op een sightseeingtour met Mohammed. Hij is zo vriendelijk. Hij was uitstekend om te vertellen over Sharm El Sheikh, Egypte en zijn mensen en geschiedenis. We kunnen aanbevelen om deze tour te nemen en aan het begin van je reis te doen. Bedankt Mohammed.
