Horseback Riding on Beach
Had an amazing time on. The horses on the beach during the sunset!!. Hands down I would highly recommend

I was a first time...
I was a first time horseback rider. After the water portion, I noticed my horse getting antsy so I asked the person it's us if it was okay and I don't know if they didn't understand me but they got me back in the horse. . Riding back, my foot fell out of the foot hold as they got the horses running kind of fast, I asked for help and I didn't get any, they got the horses to go faster and I fell off. There were absolutely no instructions prior to us riding and safety was not a priority. For about 16 riders we had maybe three handlers and 1 photographer which doesn't seem to be a correct ratio when almost everyone there is a beginner. I thankfully only cut up my foot and elbow but it could have been much worse. The people who were with us while we were riding seemed to be not concerned with safety and treated the experience as a photo shoot rather than riding the horses. I think of the three hour excursion, 2 1/4 hours were spent taking pictures. The horses are beautiful and I wish we got to spend more time riding them. I also wish safety was more of a priority. Lastly, make sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting soaked /dirty as you are basically waist deep at times in the sea aka the horses bathroom. I ended up throwing my pants away.

Horse riding in the Beach
The experience was truly fun, memorable, and filled with so much laughter. I enjoyed every minute, from their amazing personalities to capturing beautiful pictures and the way they made us feel completely comfortable, as if they had known us for years. Their energy was so positive, vibrant, and uplifting. I genuinely felt happy, relaxed, and present throughout the entire experience. It was a wonderful experience that I will always remember and truly appreciate.

Good in theory, poor execution
We booked a 3 hour sunset horseback ride with the expectation of riding through desert, ocean, and some trails. It was 3 hours of just struggling to keep the horses together for a photo op in water where the horses kept slipping on the rocky ocean floor. As photos were being taken, the majority of the group was standing waist deep in water so a 3 hour horseback ride was essentially 1 hour of being on the horse for photos and 2 hours standing in ocean water hoping the horses didnt step on your feet or startle and take off. The group I was with was composed of more than 50% of people with little to no experience riding horses which was asked before we even approached the horses and there was no guidance/support/information provided to control the horses or how to respond in different possible scenarios. The "guides" were too busy making jokes and attempting to make the horses run faster even after they were told by some of the group that it was making them feel uneasy or unsafe. At one point, a group member said to the guide that her foot had come out of the stirrups and the guides response was to force the horse to run faster causing the group member to fall off the horse. Definitely wouldn't recommend this for anyone without proficiency in horseback riding or equine experience. At the end of the experience, the collector of payment/organization was going around selectively picking who to ask for reviews to ensure negative experiences were not expressed or voiced in the reviews.

Fun experience, want more safety protocols
Unique experience! Everyone tried their best to ensure our safety, but I just wish helmets were offered! I was not given one when I asked which made me a bit nervous. Ultimately it was fun, but I would only do it again with a helmet! I know this is uncommon for Egypt though.
