Safe, knowledgeable, and caring — The ultimate Egypt tour guide
My guide is Khaled. He is an amazing guide. Thanks to him, I had an incredible touring experience, and I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart. If I ever visit Egypt again, I would definitely love to ask him to be my guide once more.
He eased all my anxiety about traveling to Egypt for the first time.
First, he contacted me the day before the tour to confirm the meeting place and time, and politely assured me that he would come to pick me up. During the tour, he gave me crucial safety tips—such as holding my bag tightly, never touching items even if someone holding them approaches, and watching out for pickpockets in crowded areas. Thanks to this, I knew exactly what to look out for and where, allowing me to follow him with total peace of mind.
Furthermore, his knowledge of Egypt is extensive, and he generously shared his deep insights with us throughout the tour. Having grown up in the United States, I sometimes struggle to understand accented English, but he always spoke in very clear and easy-to-understand English. I am also deeply grateful for how well he coordinated logistics; he frequently communicated with the waiting driver to ensure we could transition smoothly to our next destination without any waiting around. He also gave us plenty of free time during the tour, never rushing us and making sure we could fully enjoy sightseeing at our own pace.
I highly recommend him to everyone.

Fantastische gids & chauffeur!
We hadden een fantastische tour, en onze gids, Moshen, was uitstekend. Hij was grappig, warm, beleefd, vriendelijk en professioneel — maar wat het meest indruk op me maakte was hoeveel hij eigenlijk wist. Ik wilde geen gids met slechts een oppervlakkige kennis van de Egyptische geschiedenis. Ik zocht iemand die zijn onderwerp echt kende en die informatie op een interessante en boeiende manier kon leveren. Moshen absoluut geleverd.
Hij was echt leuk om de dag mee door te brengen, en hoewel het buiten HEET was, hield hij de ervaring leuk en interessant. Hij adviseerde ook dat we Luxor Temple bezoeken 's nachts, dat was een uitstekende suggestie. Hij verstrekte het ticket inbegrepen in onze tour pakket, en we hielden absoluut van het zien van Luxor Tempel prachtig verlicht in het donker.
Onze chauffeur was even professioneel. De auto was schoon, koel en comfortabel, en hij reed voorzichtig en verantwoordelijk. Ik had nooit het gevoel dat we risico liepen of dat hij onnodige risico's nam — wat ik erg waardeer als ik op reis ben.
Beide heren waren professioneel, beleefd en uitstekend in wat ze doen. Het was een geweldige tour van begin tot eind.

Geweldige rondleiding, maar een paar zorgen
Kortom, we hebben genoten van onze privé Luxor tour. Onze gids was deskundig, vriendelijk en bood goede service. Er waren echter twee problemen die onze ervaring beïnvloedden.
Eerst kregen we te horen dat het Luxor Temple ticket ons in staat zou stellen om later dezelfde dag terug te keren. Toen we terugkwamen bij zonsondergang, leerden we dat het één was - alleen toegang en moesten we een ander ticket kopen. De vertraging betekende dat we een groot deel van de beperkte zonsondergang tijd die we hadden gepland voor fotografie verloren. Toen we dit ter sprake brachten, zei onze gids dat we hem verkeerd begrepen hadden, hoewel we er allebei zeker van zijn dat dat niet was wat hij ons vertelde. Het ging niet om de kosten van het ticket, maar om het verlies van vertrouwen.
Ten tweede realiseerden we ons later dat de Kolossen van Memnon, die in ons reisschema stond, niet in onze tour was opgenomen.
Voor toekomstige gasten raad ik ten zeerste aan om het reisschema te controleren met uw gids aan het begin van de tour en precies te verduidelijken hoe de tickets werken, inclusief of her- toegang is toegestaan, zodat er later geen verrassingen zijn.
De tour was verder erg leuk, maar deze problemen weerhielden ons van het geven van een hogere rating.

Great experience
It was my first time visiting Luxor. I am so happy and pleased I took this tour! My guide Khaled Elsmaky was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to ask him questions and build the trip they way I could enjoy it. My big gratitude to him for making this trip so special and safe for me🙏❤️ I recommend Kaled and this tour. Great private tour of the West Bank sites of Luxor
We had a nice day trip visiting the West Bank sites of Luxor with our guide Khaled and driver Yousef. They picked us up from our hotel on time. Both were friendly, polite and professional throughout our tour. Khaled spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable of the history and sites, not just in Luxor but Egypt. He also provided very helpful recommendations for our stay in the city. The car used for our tour was in very good condition and comfortable. We were quite happy with the service we received from Reflection Travels, Khaled and Yousef.

Excellent tour and guide
Abdul was an excellent tour guide. As a trained Egyptologist, he knew so much and really brought the sites we saw to life. As a private tour, he was very flexible, which was nice so we could adjust to the kids, especially on a very hot day.
