Je gekwalificeerde Egyptoloog-gids haalt je op bij je hotel / Nijlcruise in Luxor of Luxor International Airport en begeleidt je tijdens je bezoek aan de Westelijke Jordaanoever waar je de beroemde Vallei der Koningen kunt zien, waar veel koningen begraven liggen in deze vallei . De meest bekende graven zijn koning Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, koning Ramssess VI, koning Mrenptah en AmonhotepII.
Ga dan verder met het bezoeken van de majestueuze tempel van koningin Hatsjepsoet, die werd gebouwd door koningin Hatsjepsoet, dochter van Thutmosis I, die ongeveer 20 jaar in de 18e dynastie 1490-1469 v.Chr. Over Egypte regeerde, de enige faraonische vrouw die het oude Egypte regeerde.
Hierna gaan we door naar de kolossen van Memnon waar je de gelegenheid hebt om enkele foto's te maken.
Ga dan naar de prachtige Vallei der Koninginnen waar het graf van de Grote Koningin Nefertari ligt.
We reizen nu naar de East Bank in Luxor. Lunch in een lokaal restaurant. Na je lunch gaan we verder met het bezoeken van de Karnak-tempels, het grootste voorbeeld van aanbidding in de geschiedenis gewijd aan de God Amon, zijn vrouw Mut en hun zoon Khonsu.

We had a great experience with Roshdy. He was kind, funny, and easy to chat with. Also, he was very knowledgeable about Luxor's history and guided us through a wonderful day. He was so kind, when I asked about purchasing a scarf, he brought us to a local maker where we got to see them weave the scarfs and had amazing textiles (for all budgets!). We only had one day to spend in Luxor and Roshdy made it great!

Roshdy was amazing! He took very good care of us and made sure we had an awesome time. He was smart and informative but also very funny and made us feel like we were hanging out with a dear friend.

We were picked up late because of a misunderstanding of hotel location even though I did clearly include the address. The day was expertly led with a nice lunch. We were not taken to the valley of the queens even though the event list said we had paid the entrance fee to that location. The Alabaster place was nice but preferred to skip the oils place and gone to Medinet Habu which I would recommend.

Tour Guide: Mohamed Driver: Mahmoud - Easy and punctual pick-up: Mahmoud picked me up from the airport on time and greeted me politely. It was a very long day for Mahmoud with a 7am pick-up and then dropped back to the airport that evening at 6pm. - Clean and hygienic car and professional driver: Mahmoud was a good driver, helpful and polite. - Time management: I was able to see all the places on the itinerary with sufficient time to explore each place. - Helpful guide: Mohamed went above and beyond. He is a fountain of knowledge. I really enjoyed learning the history of each place. As a solo traveler both the men made me feel comfortable and safe.

Inexperienced guide acting like a school teacher I wasn’t sure who is guiding, me or she. Knowledge acquired from books. But operator nicely found a solution as she was replaced. The other guide was good

Very well planned and detailed tour of all the major temples and tombs in and around Luxor. Our guide Hassan Maghripy was very knowledgeable, attentive and passionate when talking about the history and life of Ancient Egypt, delving into both the larger stories and minute details of the design. He even taught us how to read the hieroglyphics, and identify the gods and goddesses. He prioritised visiting and spending time at the sites as we wanted, over lunches and shop visits. We spent the whole day (over 8 hours!) with him easily, and only wish we had begun the trip sooner than 9 am so we could get more time at each site. The driver Ahdab was also very helpful and careful on the winding roads. Highly recommend this tour and Hassan personally. Luxor opens earlier (6 am) than Cairo and Giza, so suggest starting the tour as early as possible.

Absolutely amazing day with Hassan. He was so good keeping our boys engaged whilst keeping adults interested with so many cool facts and explanations. We covered so much, had enough free time and the tour included pretty extensive and a really good quality lunch. We really enjoyed our day and I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone.

Luxor has so many wonders. The tour I went on was great in getting to see these in a single day and with all the arrangements including transportation and tickets taken care. Mansor was the best guide I have yet had in Egypt. Smart, respectful, responsive and speaking very good English. Well worth the spending the extra money on this tour. Very highly recommended.

The sites we visited on this tour were fantastic. The Valley of the Kings was the highlight and the tombs were beautifully decorated. We opted to pay and visit the 3 optional tombs which were all worth the cost. If on a stricter budget at least do Tut and Ramses IV/V. Our guide Roshdy was phenomenal and our favorite guide during our 10 days in Egypt. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about all the ancient sites but did not overload with information. He let us take our time with pictures and exploring without rushing and we could take all the time we wanted. Roshdy was very good-natured and humorous. He was also very kind and considerate to include concern for my daughter who was not feeling well and even bought her a souvenir as a late birthday gift when he happened to find out it occurred a couple days prior. We did have a problem with communications with the tour operator who lacked responsiveness and created some confusion with the start time. This was not the fault of the guide or driver who showed up promptly at the pickup point based on the time they were provided. That resulted in starting an hour later than expected but it did not end up having an impact on the tour itself. I still rated this tour 5 stars despite this due the quality of our guide Roshdy and the magnificence of the sites visited. Overall strongly recommend.
