Geweldige ervaring!

Great tour for family
We had a great experience exploring Luxor with Reflections Travel, especially our exceptional tour guide, Barry!
The full-day tour covered all the major sights in Luxor and we enjoyed them immensely. Most of our previous tours in Egypt sent us cars where 3 people felt squeezed sitting behind, so we had asked for a big car. The tour company immediately accommodated us and sent us a 10 seater mini van. The guide, Barry was knowledgeable and well prepared ( had our entry tickets for all monuments ready). We only had to buy the Buggy tickets (optional for those who did not want to walk for about 500-700 mts to a specific monument from the entrance). The lunch that we had was a typical Egyptian lunch at a nice restaurant (ironically named Restaurant Paris). Overall we had a great time!

Excellent tour
Mohsen was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable with both his prepared content and his answers to all our questions. The tour was well planned to accommodate weather and crowds. We definitely felt like we saw the highlights of Luxor!

A long day
This is a long tour as you will be moving from location to location. Our guide Roshdy was very knowledgeable about the area and the local people. We started at Valley of the Kings where your ticket allows you to view 3 tombs. The tombs may vary as we were told that they rotate them 10 at a time. King Tuts tomb is a separate ticket purchase. We started with King Tut and we were in and out in about 10 minutes. Its a fairly small tomb compared to the others. Also your tour guide is not allowed in the tombs so you are exploring on your own. There are tomb guards who are more than ready to help you or provide a cardboard fan for a tip.
We saw Ramses III, Ramses IV and Ramses IX. Ramses III is a must see. It is unbelievable how much color has remained on the walls after centuries. Depending on the time of year that to visit, the walk between the tombs is not that bad. But once in the tombs, there is not much airflow so it may still be hot and muggy regardless of time of year. Pack a hand fan if you get hot easily. We then headed a few minutes away to Valley of the queens to see Hatchesput temple. We stopped at an alabaster factory for a little education and a sales pitch. The inside building had air conditioning so we took our time. They have a lot of products but remember, if you don't plan on buying, let them know. And if you plan on buying, haggle! We were able to get our products down 80%. Next we headed to the temples and ruins which are mind blowing when you think of the time period these were created. We finished at the valley of the artisans which is mobility dependent. There is an outdoor section and tombs. If you plan on going into the tombs and are unable to go down steep stairs while ducking under low ceilings, this may not work for you. All together this is a long and possibly strenuous excursion, depending on time of year and heat index. Remember to keep small bills such as 1 to 10 EGP for tomb guards and bathroom attendants. Remember anyone who assists you in any way will usually be expecting a tip.
-If you are someone who gets hot easily or sweats a lot, I recommend you bring a fan! Wear your walking/hiking shoes. Even with starting at 9 a.m., it was still very hot with the high heat index in August and my clothing was soaked. We packed pocket snacks and small water bottles with electrolytes.

Great Luxor Tour!
Roshdy did a great job explaining all of the history to us even in the 106 degree heat! He made sure we saw the best tombs in Valley of the Kings. He asked if we wanted to add on an additional piece to our tour for a small fee, we declined because of the heat but it was a nice option to have! We also were given free time to take pictures at all locations and walk around at our own pace. Because of the heat he recommended we go see Luxor Temple at night by ourselves and gave us the tickets. This worked out perfectly because it is supposed to be beautiful at night. We had a great time!

Best Valley of Kings, Queens and temples tour.
Amazing tour of the valley of the Kings, Queens.. many temples..tombs.. and hieroglyphs. Too many to mention here. It covered everything you need to see on the Western side of Luxor thanks to Reflection travel. The highlight was our guide Barry.. his knowledge was second to none. But even better he had a sense of humour which made the trip fun and smart.

Amazing experience
Tour guide Roshdy and his driver picked us up on time and welcomed us to Luxor. Roshdy was very patient and kind to my partner as he was sick and let us make a quick stop at a pharmacy. Roshdy was very informative about Valley of the Kings and Temples and answered every question I had. This was an amazing once in a life time experience and I'm glad I had a tour guide like Roshdy. Roshdy's driver took his time and was very patient on the roads as well. 🤩
