Wonderful experience, just upsetting to witness animal cruelty
We all had a wonderful and very memorable trip with some fabulous photos of the day. Just to be aware health and safety isn’t in abundance. I asked for helmets for the quad bikes but they never materialised. There are no seatbelts in the jeeps that transport you to and from hotels and Bedouin village. We took snacks with us which worked out well as didn’t have time for lunch before we were collected from the hotel and food was in the evening. Wish we hadn’t paid the extra to go in to see the animals in the Bedouin village as it was so upsetting to see the animal cruelty occurring. The monkey is on such a short lease it could barely move around. The tortoise / baby turtle was in such a small bowl of water which it was struggling to climb out of. So sad 😢. That aside I would definitely recommend this trip just don’t visit this aspect if you dislike animals being treated unfairly.

Great value trip - would highly recommend
We recently visited Hurghada and booked the quad bike, buggy, jeep, camel and dinner tour with Golden Map. We booked through Viator but received almost instant contact from Golden Map via WhatsApp, confirming that our tour was booked and that they would be in contact with further details. I was very impressed by how good the company was at communicating throughout. The trip itself was fanatstic value. We were slightly worried that the advertised tour length would mean our kids (6 yr old and 9 yr old) might get bored. However, because there are lots of activities and all in relatively short bursts, we had no such issue. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the safari park suggest that you wear a scarf on your head and they charge 4 Euros for these if you don't have your own. They also recommend wearing googles and they charge 3 Euros to rent a pair. My wife and I just wore sunglasses and we found these to be fine. We did get goggles for our boys though. As a family of four, these costs can add up if everyone needs a scarf and googles. I feel that Golden Maps could be more up fron t about these options. The quad bike was fun. It was quite bumpy in places and I found it difficult to drive at times whilst ensuring my 6 year old son didn't fall off! Something to bear in mind for any families with younger kids. My 9 year old loved it though! The buggies were great. We had a buggy for all four of us and this was surprising comfy and fun. I was not a fan of the jeep ride to beduoin village. It is very bumpy, fast, and quite far. We were crammed onto benches in the back of the jeep, sitting sideways. It was incredibly difficult to stop yourself from flying around. My kids found it Ok, but I really didn't enjoy! The village itself was pretty good. The locals do the camel rides which are fairly short but adequate. There is an opportunity to pay (2 Euros / 2 USD / 100 EGP) to see some animals in one of the buildings. I didn't bother but my wife and kids enjoyed it. There are some cool creatures - baby crocodile, chameleon, tortoise. There was a chained up monkey though which isn't really acceptable. The jeep trip back seemed to take a slightly different route. Whilst still uncomfortable, it was more manageable than the outward journey. Back at the main hub is where we were given dinner (help yourself buffet) and entertainment (belly dancer, traditional dancer, fire juggler). This was all perfectly decent for the price. Overall, we would definitely recommend. I'd say it's not really any good for younger kids though.

Best safari experience
Whole experience was awesome, we have also met some great Mexican people during the trip. Totally recommend it.
