Enttäuschende Erfahrung mit Legacy Tours – nicht empfehlenswert!
Wir haben eine Private Luxor Tages-Tour mit Legacy Tours gebucht – in der Annahme, eine individuell anpassbare und gut organisierte Reise zu erhalten. Leider wurden wir sehr enttäuscht.
Bereits um ca. 5 Uhr morgens begann die Tour mit der Abholung durch zwei Fahrer – und genau hier fingen die Probleme an. Bei einer deutschsprachig ausgeschriebenen Tour sollte man zumindest erwarten können, dass einer der Fahrer entweder Deutsch oder zumindest Englisch versteht. Leider war dies nicht der Fall – es wurde ausschließlich Arabisch gesprochen. Zur Kommunikation diente lediglich ein Mobiltelefon mit Übersetzungs-App – mehr war nicht möglich. Und das auf einer Strecke, die wir jeweils rund vier Stunden mit denselben Fahrern verbracht haben!
Als wir versuchten, mit dem Veranstalter Kontakt aufzunehmen, wurde uns lediglich mitgeteilt, dass dies “vollkommen normal” sei – und es sei auch nicht notwendig, mit dem Fahrer kommunizieren zu können. Ein absolutes Unding, gerade bei einer als private Tour beworbenen Leistung, bei der wir bewusst die Möglichkeit haben wollten, flexibel auf Route oder Abläufe Einfluss zu nehmen. Diese Flexibilität wurde uns schlicht verweigert.
Vorsicht bei der Buchung dieser Tour!
Zwar war der deutschsprachige Reiseleiter, den wir nach 4,5 Stunden endlich in Luxor getroffen haben, sehr freundlich, kompetent und sprach ausgezeichnet Deutsch – doch auch er kam von einer externen Agentur und war sichtlich peinlich berührt über die mangelhafte Organisation durch Legacy Tours.
Fazit: Die Tour an sich ist inhaltlich zwar in Ordnung, aber Service, Kommunikation und Organisation durch Legacy Tours sind absolut mangelhaft. In unserem Fall: Nie wieder!

Such a beautiful trip !! Ahmed Elsisi was our tour guide and he had so much knowledge about everything around us . BomBa was our driver and he made sure the entire ride was smooth and everything we needed was taken care of. I highly recommend booking a trip with them

Great day our in Luxor
Great day trip to Luxor! Our tour guide Hamza was very knowledgeable. We never had to queue for tickets. It was an efficient and informative visit. We very much enjoyed being able to tailor the day to us. The lunch with a view over the Nile was good, even had good vegetarian options, and the boat ride was a nice addition. The driver was reliable and quick.

Amazing Experience! Would definitely recommend!
My wife and I had an amazing experience ! The ride to Luxor was a comfortable 4-hour drive. Our guide Shrehan was a lovely woman that instantly made us feel at ease. Before your visits your guide explains the history behind every stop which makes the experience so much more complete by having an understanding of what you’re looking at. Shrehan has a lot of knowledge about Egyptian history and explains everything in an interesting way, and in clear English! You don’t need to stand in lines for tickets and your driver is always waiting for you to go to the next stop. Also, you can leave your belongings in the car so you don’t need to carry it around everywhere. The food was great and the boat ride was very romantic and relaxing! The guide also gave us enough private moments to enjoy the scenery. Furthermore, you can choose your own tempo! If you want to have the best experience of Luxor as a couple or small family I would highly recommend this trip. All thanks to our driver and Shrehan!

Unforgettable Luxor day trip!
The one day trip to Luxor was simply unforgettable, Bomba the driver was so friendly and a great driver and made the trip very pleasant and stopped for breaks and food just at the right time. The private guide Abdul was so knowledgeable and made the Luxor temples tours unforgettable. Really recommend to all!

Great albeit long day out well worth it
Fantastic day made all the better by our guide Ahmed Elsisi very knowledgeable and informative throughout the day. Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, Felucca and Karnak memorable day out.

Fabulous day trip
A very early start 5am but our family of 4 had a private mini bus so we had a row each to stretch out. This also stayed with us the whole day so we could leave our bags on it without having to trail them round with us. We picked up our guide Ahmed Elsisi just before entering Valley of the Kings. He did everything for us to make entry really easy. We only did the 3 tombs included with he package but now we’ve returned to our hotel wish we’d paid for either Seti I or Tut tombs. Our guide was not allowed inside the tombs with us but before entering each tomb he told us what to look out for. On leaving Valley of the Kings we went to Hatshepsut and WOW it’s spectacular to think it’s over 3000 years old, again our guide Ahmed was very knowledgeable and informative making the experience. We then stopped for lunch which was good but a huge amount of food the table was laden with sharing dishes and then we got our individual dishes which were served in clay pots and still sizzling. After lunch we relaxed on a Felucca taking us from the West Bank to the East Bank where our mini bus met us and took us to Karnak a truly magnificent temple. Ahmed again gave us such knowledge and information helping us to understand how the ancient Egyptians built these temples. After this we dropped our guide of and travelled back getting back at 8pm. A very long day but well worth it made al the more special by to stories toiled to us by Ahmed making it a very memorable day for us. Dancing in Luxor
Fantastic (tiring) day trip from Hurghada. Comfortable and punctual transportation to Luxor, and back. Ahmed (our guide) was superb - knowledgeable, charming, and an avid photographer. Delicious lunch. The Valley of the Kings and the various Temples were incredible (kids even put phones down). Nice little Nile cruise (with compulsory dance…don’t ask). Bring cash to get into toilets & various tips. Only minor issue was stop at Alabastar workshop which involved some fairly hard selling. Not unpleasant and folk need to earn a living. But, memories for a lifetime.

Luxor Magic
A wonderful day. Superb organisation, from punctual pick-up, speedy (but safe) driver, delicious lunch and dancing on a boat on the Nile. But, the highlight was visiting the awe inspiring tombs and temples with the brilliant Ahmed El Sisi - Egyptologist, taker of many photos, dancer and wonderful guide. A trip the whole family will remember forever.

I booked this private...
I booked this private tour from Hurghada as I was travelling with my partner and 2 daughters - 4years old and 1 year old. This did not disappoint. We were able to visit these historic places and had enough time to take photos. Our guide Samira even took photos of us which were amazing. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter warmed up with her immediately. We definitely had a great time.
