Long day but get to see everything listed
To start this is a really long day so you need to be prepared for it. But we are glad we went and all staff throughout day were nice and helpful.
Pros:
Big bus is comfortable (as opposed to smaller minivans) and there is a toilet in case you really need it. Aircon is also good!
Drivers are excellent. Navigating the streets of Cairo in a large bus is nothing short of a miracle!
Tour at museum is good and then an hour free time. It helps having the quick tour and history explained of three parts of the museum before you’re on your own.
Enough time at the pyramids and can pay extra for camel ride/cart if you want to. Some time at the end to see the Spinx.
Guide and people on pick up duty keep everyone to time to make sure it runs smoothly and get time to see everything.
Cons:
Unfortunately as it fell we were first pick up and therefore last drop off so our day was 25 hours. To squeeze in perfume and papyrus stop is too much the latter should be dropped to get back on the road. Lunch was chaotic and rushed. Boat trip isn’t worth it (having been on similar in Luxor) but this seems to encouraged (we already had this booked beforehand as part of all inclusive ticket option).
Overall I’d recommend for costing less than flying and just be prepared for long travel times. There are a lot of stops and some aren’t really clear as it isn’t for toilet breaks. It gets you to all the sites to see everything and a large distance covered so it’s worth it.
Tip: there is no drinks provided and no option to get any on bus. Take lots of water. Drinks aren’t included with lunch but there is a shop next to the restaurant where you can get bottled water much cheaper than them charging €3 a bottle (we got x4 for $2 from shop).
Need 50cents per person for toilets and get breakfast box from hotel as can keep things on bus when getting off at stops.

Foi bom mas muito cansativo
Bom. Gostaria de ter tido mais tempo para visitar a esfinge por mais tempo.

Brilliant experience!
We had a wonderful tour.
Our guide Hanen was outstanding, she spoke brilliant English, lots of other languages too. She explained so much to us and was very clear on the schedule for the day. She was warm and polite.
There was a lot of stop and start due to all the activities in just one day (which we knew) and I wish the tour spent a little more time at the Pyramids. We only had an hour there which was a little disappointing.
I would have chose a private tour for next time with longer at the pyramids but that was personal preference.
Everything else such as the Egyptian Museum, Ride of the river Nile, Lunch, camel ride and the bus ride was brilliant.
The camels looked well looked after and healthy so that was another positive to our trip. I wouldn’t pay for people that don’t look after their camels properly.
Just be wary of the guys who take photographs wanting tips.
The bus was a large coach style bus which was nice with AC and bag space.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

A mixed bag
Mixed feeling about this one so I'll just list pros and cons,.
Pros:
- visit to all of the most important sites in one day,
- clear instructions on pick up times, breaks, prices
- presence of a single guide throughout the day from pick up to drop off
- a convenient package
- reasonably priced
- nice grilled meats for lunch
Cons
- the guide was disinterested and not very knowledgeable, repeated the same facts over and over, while other guides spoke at length, especially at the museum. The museum itself is impressive but without the help of a guide the kids get bored quickly.
Fortunately I speak other languages so I picked up some facts and background shared by the other guides. The guide didnt understand many of our questions either so it was quite disappointing
Side note: Children's museum is a separate attraction, to be paid on top of the regular ticket.
- the journey was extremely long (we were made to believe it would take up to 6 hours each way, but in fact it was over 8 hours which makes a difference when travelling with a toddler.
- the Nile trip = going up and down the same stretch of the river with music blasting at full volume from a huge speaker. Do not recommend, especially if you travel with young kids.
- a rather forgettable lunch (except for the grilled meats which were very nice)

All day everything experience
The trip was full of different experiences. Timetable was somewhat tight but manageable. Everything was part of the trip what was promised. Guide was very nice and told lot of facts and information that would not be available when doing trip alone. Tips about gifts, scams and other minor things were also accurate and helped to manage through the busy city of cairo!

Horrific trip to cairo..do not book this tour
Worst guide ever, gave no information just made highly sexist jokes. Badly orginized, had to wait outside museum for 30min resulting in only 30 min in museum. Bought ticket to go inside pyramids while guide should know they close at 4pm so wasted my money. No control of people on bus resulting in major arguments and 6 people left bus in desert. So bad they did not even ask for tip.

Nesten ingen guiding på engelsk. En av guidene virket småsur og arrogant. Virket uorganisert m mye venting
