Conned by a scammer
This tour is not a private tour of the pyramids and the grand Egyptian Museum. While these stops are included, they are merely a segway from the actual purpose of the tour which is to whisk you away from the pyramids into the gritty underworld of egyptian scammers disguised s a tour guide and her merry band of government employed shopkeeper scammers. We tried to shift the details of our tour to include Coptic Cairo drive by, but we were told we "Had No time". Yet we were delivered to a perfume and fragrance shop, which conveniently "mixed up" or orders so as not to include certain, more costly oils, and replace, while out of eyesight, with cheap baby oil. Then, on to the papyrus factory, run by more government employees, selling painting, then of course, you can't leave out the jewelry and trinkets shop selling only Egyptian made and authentic souvenirs. What a scam! Viator should drop this immediately.

Ask for Fatima- Amazing Tour!!
Our tour with Fatima was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Egypt and an experience my wife and I will never forget!
From the very beginning, everything was seamless. We were picked up right on time and spent an incredible day exploring the Pyramids, enjoying a camel ride, and visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum. Since the tour was private and just the two of us, Fatima made the entire experience feel personal, relaxed, and incredibly special.
Fatima also took us to some unique local shops where we learned how traditional papyrus paintings are made and had a fascinating presentation about Egyptian oils. We enjoyed the experience so much that we ended up purchasing some oils to take home with us.
Lunch was at a buffet restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious with plenty of great options.
One thing that really sets Fatima apart is her incredible talent for taking photos and videos. She knows exactly how to use an iPhone to capture amazing angles and moments. Some of the photos she took of us at the Pyramids are so incredible that we plan on having them printed and framed!
Beyond being extremely knowledgeable and experienced, Fatima was warm, personable, attentive, and has a fantastic sense of humour. We shared plenty of laughs throughout the day, which made the experience even more enjoyable. She genuinely cared about making our day memorable, never made us feel rushed, and made sure we enjoyed every part of the experience.
We honestly could not have asked for a better tour. Everything exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. If you are visiting Cairo and want an unforgettable experience, Fatima is the gold standard for Egyptian tour guides. We would recommend her without hesitation. 10/10!
One important tip completely unrelated to Fatima: Do not bring Meta smart glasses/sunglasses on these tours. They are strictly forbidden at the attractions, so it is best to leave them at your hotel rather than risk having an issue when entering.

Ik heb de dienst in het Portugees geboekt en deze informatie via chat bevestigd; echter, ze hebben ons een goede gids toegewezen, maar die sprak Spaans (wat betekent dat ik misleid werd door het bedrijf). Bovendien brachten ze ons naar winkels van hun keuze die niet op het reisschema stonden, waardoor we gedwongen werden producten te kopen tegen VEEL hogere dan marktprijzen, en erger nog, tijd verspilden die we hadden moeten besteden aan het verkennen van het Museum. Ik heb betaald om de attracties te ervaren, niet om op winkelstops te worden meegenomen. Exceptional guide
What a great tour and fantastic guide! I was picked up at my hotel on time in a clean car, and had a great and very safe driver. My tour guide, Mahmoud Hoka, was exceptional - he was incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour an absolute delight. He was very engaging and I came away having learnt so much, plus he was very patient with all my questions! I was totally at ease, which is important for a solo female traveller. I would absolutely recommend this tour and would urge you to request Mahmoud Hoka - you won’t be disappointed!

Honest, genuine tour of the pyramids and GEM
Sosa was my guide. She was so interesting, informative, professional yet genuine. She ignites and quenches my thirst for knowledge for the pyramids of giza and the Egyptian Museum. She was extremely patient and hardworking as well. She looked after me so well.
After being scammed the day before by someone else, Sosa's delivery of her knowledge, photo taking skills and the passion for her country history was downright like a breathe of fresh air.
The driver attached to her was also so nice. Adel. He was an awesome driver. The car was clean and tidy and he ensured that I was comfortable and cool in the scorching heat at all times. It was downright fun and such a joyful experience. If you ever get Adel and Sosa. You will be in for a treat. I HIGHLY recommend them. They are honest and genuine.
Oh and the lunch buffet was great!

Vreselijke gids, heeft ons souvenir van Egypte verpest
We betaalden voor een privé-tour die duurder was dan de andere, en uitstekende recensies had, om ervoor te zorgen dat onze ervaring in Egypte onvergetelijk was. We hebben 60+ landen bezocht, en dit is een land waar we al sinds we kinderen waren van droomden om te bezoeken. De gids was verschrikkelijk, zijn naam is Nour Zaki. Als je aan hem wordt toegewezen, zorg er dan voor dat je vraagt om te veranderen voordat de tour begint!! Zeer onbeleefd, haastte ons tussen de monumenten, en stapte voor ons toen we probeerden foto's te maken. Hij was volhardend in het proberen ons te overtuigen niet naar binnen te gaan in de piramides, zodat hij niet buiten zou hoeven te wachten. Sprak heel snel, en in een moeilijk te begrijpen Engels. Ik stelde een vraag over de piramiden, en hij zei tegen me: Ik heb je al verteld. Onprettig en onrespectvol, hij leek er niet blij mee te zijn. Tijdens het rijden legde hij de stad ook nooit uit, negeerde ons volledig en sprak de hele tijd in de telefoon, wat uren duurde. Misschien is het bureau goed, maar zorg ervoor dat je de dag ervoor vraagt wie je gids is. Als het hem is, vraag dan onmiddellijk om te veranderen, want hij zal je ervaring en souvenir van Egypte verpesten.
