This was a fabulous day out to pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Egyptian museum! Mo was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He was entertaining and answered many questions. He also helped us with many lovely photos. The car was comfortable and we were provided with fresh cool water throughout the day. The lunch was basic but tasty and the waiter assembled it at the table for us with great flourish! It was a great day and Mo made sure we saw everything we came to see. Highly recommend the company. Great communication and a wonderful experience.

Our first visit to Cairo was made truly special by Cairo Portal Tours, and in particular by our wonderful guide, Mina, and our driver, Mohammed. From the moment Mina arrived early at our hotel in Maadi, we knew we were in good hands. He welcomed us warmly and even brought cold bottled water and some delicious Egyptian date biscuits for us to enjoy along the way — a small but thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel comfortable and looked after. Mohammed was an excellent driver and made us feel completely safe throughout the day. The vehicle was also very comfortable and well presented. It was clear that Mina and Mohammed have a great friendship, and their excellent rapport contributed to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our tour. Mina's knowledge of Egyptian history and the Giza Plateau was exceptional. At the pyramids, he provided fascinating historical and cultural insights that went far beyond simply telling us what we were looking at. His passion for Egypt and its history was evident in the way he explained everything, and he brought the ancient sites to life. After visiting the pyramids, Mina took us to a traditional Egyptian perfume shop and a papyrus shop. Rather than simply being a shopping stop, both experiences were informative and enjoyable. We were given a fascinating demonstration of Egyptian perfumes and learned about the traditional process of making papyrus. Our visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum was equally impressive. Mina continued to share his extensive knowledge, explaining the exhibits and Egyptian history with the depth and confidence of someone who genuinely loves his country's heritage. At every stage, he was patient, accommodating and willing to assist us — including helping us with photographs so that we could capture the memories of our family trip. What stood out most was that Mina didn't make the experience feel like a standard tour. He genuinely wanted us to understand, appreciate and enjoy Egypt. His knowledge, friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail made a significant difference to our experience. We would highly recommend Cairo Portal Tours, and particularly Mina and Mohammed, to anyone visiting Cairo for the first time. They helped make our first experience of Cairo memorable, comfortable and genuinely enjoyable. Thank you, Mina and Mohammed, for an unforgettable day in Cairo!

Il tour è andato benissimo, abbiamo prenotato il pomeriggio avendo poco tempo a disposizione. Ma la guida Moa, ci ha adattato il tour in base alle nostre esigenze e siamo riusciti a vedere tutto quanto! Nel pomeriggio non era affollato per niente e siamo riusciti a fare delle foto stupende.
