I had the absolute pleasure of exploring the Pyramids of Giza and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization with Asmaa as my guide, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Als je op zoek bent naar een onvergetelijke ervaring in Egypte, kijk dan niet verder dan A 1 Egypte tours. Ik had het voorrecht om Hossam als mijn privé gids voor de dag en onze goede chauffeur Hani. Hossam is een geweldige Egyptoloog, die niet alleen de plaats kent, maar ook een ongelooflijk warme persoonlijkheid heeft, vriendelijk en charmant die mijn reis onvergetelijk maakte. Van de piramides van Gizeh tot de adembenemende galerijen van het Groot Egyptisch Museum, Hossam had altijd fascinerende inzichten en verhalen te delen over de geschiedenis, cultuur en tradities van Egypte. Zijn kennis van het gebied is ongeëvenaard en zijn passie voor zijn werk werkt aanstekelijk. Hij bood zelfs aan dat we een aantal korte stops maken naar plaatsen die oorspronkelijk niet in onze tour waren opgenomen, zoals het Papyrus Instituut, de etherische oliewinkel en de Spices. En natuurlijk zou mijn Egyptische tour niet compleet zijn zonder een voorproefje van een authentieke Koshari. Hij bracht me naar het beste Koshari restaurant en ik heb er absoluut van genoten! En voordat we uit elkaar gingen, trakteerde hij me op waarschijnlijk het beste mangosap ooit. Maar wat Hossam onderscheidt is zijn opmerkelijke vriendelijkheid en bereidheid om verder te gaan dan zijn plichten voor zijn gast. Ik realiseerde me dat ik een reistas nodig had om de souvenirs die ik had gekocht te dragen en zonder aarzeling ging hij letterlijk zelf op zoek naar een tas — zoekend door nabijgelegen winkels totdat we de perfecte tas voor mij hadden gevonden. Dit niveau van zorg en toewijding is zeldzaam, en het gaf me het gevoel oprecht gewaardeerd als gast. Naast zijn professionaliteit maakte Hossams warmte en charme elk moment aangenaam. Hij heeft een geweldig gevoel voor humor; hij lijkt vrienden te zijn voor iedereen die we tijdens de tour ontmoeten en een oprechte interesse om ervoor te zorgen dat ik de best mogelijke ervaring heb. Ik beveel Hossam en ook de heer Hani aan iedereen die van plan is een reis naar Egypte. Of u nu een geschiedenisliefhebber, een foodie of gewoon iemand bent die de schoonheid van Egypte wil verkennen, ze zullen uw reis echt speciaal maken. Geloof me — je vertrekt niet alleen met ongelooflijke herinneringen, maar ook met een nieuwe vriend. Ik weet het omdat ik het deed.

Asmaa was amazing. I learnt so much with her. She is passionate about the history of her country and wants to share her knowledge. Everything was super organized, perfect rhythms, relaxed atmosphere and driving... a real added value! Asmaa was Very prepared (she studied Egyptology!), she speaks perfectly English and Italian. Asma was so Kind and humble helpful and with infinite patience. SHe guided me through the wonders of Egypt with passion and professionalism. In short... a real treasure! 🚐 i visited: the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, with a spectacular camel that took me to the viewpoint behind the pyramids to take postcard DA photos; stop at a perfume shop, ideal if you want to buy something authentic; also visited the grand museum (i think it my 2nd favorite museum the first one is the Louvre I’m French) and after we had typical lunch in a restaurant with really good Egyptian food !). 📌 I highly recommend to request Asmaa for this tour with your eyes closed: perfect if you want to discover the best of Egypt without stress, with a guide who knows how to put you at ease and make you feel welcomed like family. Thanks Asmaa i Will come home with a heart full of gratitude (and lots of dream DA photos!)

This Tour was amazing, really exceptional, the Setting made it one of the most memorable trips we will ever take, mostly because of our experience on the day to the Giza plateau with our Guide Asmaa. She was not just an exceptional Egyptologist & StoryTeller, but also an exceptional Human Being. (Brought leftovers for the starving dogs that some of the temples.) She took time to explain things and was passionate about Egypt’s history, it felt like a VIP tour the way everyone at each location knew her and accommodated us swiftly & personally, skipping lines. Even with government officials & museums, vendors we passed by on roads and other guides & repeat clients came over to greet her and often told us what we already knew… That we were lucky to have her as our guide. She’s very well respected. The Tour was full of unique turns including discussions about other archaeological sites that were important in Egypt. In the end, she actually added an additional tour on for us to nearby Memphis and Saqqara after we had already toured the Giza plateau and climbed up inside the great pyramid of Khufu. It was clear we could trust her & had enough time to explore more. So we decided to take a side excursion which wound up adding so much to our experience. The tours inside those tombs at Memphis with the giant Ramses lying on its back and The Imotehp Museum in the Saqqara Complex were highlights of the day. No request was too great. As we asked if she could take us to a cotton factory to purchase items at the end of our long day. She happily did & suggested the best quality items to look for. The trip 2 days ago felt like more of a private limousine than a tour you book online. That’s because of the people that lead us through it. Our Driver Mohammad was smiley & efficient, careful but quick. Our Guide Asmaa was thoughtful, quietly excellent, exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough & patient, but also fun and interesting in her own right. She even negotiated for us & kept the cold water & snacks flowing as if she read our minds! We felt honored to have met her & learned so much. Highly recommend- not 5 but 10 stars 🇪🇬

Time kind of stood still before the pyramids. the tour guider, "Asmaa", is professional and good knowledge. besides, take us to visit civilization museum. all of scenes are the mankind miracle. it is a unforgettable trip.

Great moment with our guide who was on time with a great car and a great driver! Very social, our guide Asmaa explains everything about the pyramids and the sphinx, local culture, help us to find other things and to bargain. She has also chosen a restaurant with great food and great service! Thank you for this day, you enlighted the journey in Egypt for my kids and myself ! All the best !

We had a fantastic time exploring and learnt a lot. Asmaa looked after our children so well, nothing was too much. She even had the driver go round hunting for a specific teddy my daughter had seen earlier on in the week and desperately wanted. If you want an honest tour guide, book with Queen Asmaa - the most kindhearted and knowledgeable tour guide.
