Our Egyptologist, Mr. Khaled, made every site come alive with his storytelling and deep knowledge of ancient Egypt. We learned so much on this 4-day cruise, from Luxor’s temples to Aswan’s treasures. We had an unforgettable 4-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, the food exceeded our expectations, and each temple visit felt like stepping back in time. We have just completed the 4 day/3 night Nile cruise including Abu Simbel & a hot air balloon over the Valley of the kings. The cruise was booked with Go Tours, through Viator. Mohamed could not have been better in both communicating & arranging our requirements & additional tours & travel. We would highly recommend this company. Our boat was the Nile Shama & although a little tired, was excellent. We had a great cabin on the top deck & the food was surprisingly good with excellent service, especially considering how little we had paid. We were also pleased with the very reasonable on-board prices for drinks (150 egp for a beer or glass of wine). We were very lucky that our guide was Talaat Abdo. From the beginning, nothing was too much trouble. His depth of knowledge of the history of the sites delivered with a great sense of humour, made an intensive trip very enjoyable. He assisted many of our group with onward travel and always delivered with what he promised. Don't miss out on Abu Simbel or the hot air balloon, they are highlights we will not forget. Be prepared, you are packing a 7 day itinerary into 4 days, with early starts but ample time for relaxation. Sailing down the Nile, particularly at night was magical. We highly recommend this cruise, an experience we will never forget.

Nous avons réservé par une agence égyptienne. Nous sommes une famille de 4 2 adultes et 2 enfants . Nous devions soit être logés dans une suite pour 4 ou dans 2 cabines côte à côte ou face à face. Nous avons demandé confirmation à l agence pour être sur. Or une fois arrivé à bord nos cabines ont été attribuées à d autres personnes et nos 2 cabines n étaient absolument pas coté à côté mais de chaque côté du bateau séparé par la réception. Dans un premier temps Adelrahim a dit à notre guide que cela n était pas son problème . J’ai donc demandé a parlé au Directeur. Ce dernier n’a pas hésité à nous mentir en nous disant dans un premier temps qu il n’y avait pas de cabine dispo et que c était de la faute de mon agence qui n’avait pas fait la demande. Cette dernière m’assura du contraire. Ce n est qu à ce moment là qu il nous a proposé 2 chambres dans le même couloir dont une tout au fond. Il est impossible de dormir dans cette chambre à cause des moteurs. Je vous déconseille de voyager dans ce bateau vous y serez très mal accueilli par un Directeur auquel nous ne pouvons faire confiance car il ment, c’est tout simplement honteux!!!

Had a great time with our guide Khaled. Food on the boat was great, staff was fantastic. The trip was a lot to fit in a few days, but overall still a good time. Khaled was generally very knowledgeable, but it's definitely good to read up on the temples a before going to know a bit more about what you're looking at. Nearly all the temples were pretty crowded when we visted, but that's just how the cruise timeline seems to work out. Only two real complaints: 1) sometimes we felt pressured and cornered to purchase various add ons for the trip (pretty expected for Egypt), 2) to go breakfasts on the boat were not very good. (despite the restaurant on board being great).

Great trip- very knowledgeable guide (King Mina) and beautiful places to visit. Boat was good also, not luxury but staff was lovely with our kid and very kind. Lots of hidden costs that we were not aware of and lots of waiting around on tours- but I guess this is the Arab ‘Schwey-schwey’ (slow) way!

We had a lot of fun! The tour included several beautiful stops and activities. The ship was clean and the staff was extremely kind. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind too. Would recommend!
