Leuke gekoelde dagtour
Ik wilde iets anders doen dan een geschiedenistour en een stukje natuur zien dus heb ik deze tour geboekt. We deden alles zoals beschreven, hoewel we nooit aan sandboarden konden doen, omdat zowel ik als de gids het waren vergeten. Lunch in het dorp was echt lekker. Het walvismuseum was ongelooflijk met zoveel fossielen om te zien. Echt goede video in het museum die alles uitlegt. Je kunt zwemmen in Magic Lake als je wilt, dus neem wat zwemkleding mee. Je reist rond het gebied met de jeep, hoewel het meer een noodzakelijk vervoer dan een avontuurlijke rit is. Het grootste deel van het gebied is vrij vlak met een paar leuke stukken om hoger naar de uitzichtpunten te komen, maar verwacht zeker niet dat je over veel zandduinen vliegt. Vertrokken uit Cairo om 7 uur 's ochtends en terug om ongeveer 5 uur 's middags. Tijd is gebaseerd op dat ik niet doe sandboarden of zwemmen in het meer.

Mijn reis naar Walvisvallei en de Witte Woestijn was absoluut adembenemend – een eenmalige – ervaring die ik nooit zal vergeten. Het landschap was buitenaards, gevuld met prachtige rotsformaties, zacht gouden licht en een diepe, vreedzame stilte die bijna spiritueel aanvoelde.
Wat het echt speciaal maakte was onze gids, Hamody. Hij is de beste gids die ik ooit heb ontmoet – vriendelijk, grappig, zeer goed geïnformeerd en ongelooflijk attent. Hij zorgde ervoor dat ik me de hele tijd op mijn gemak voelde, deelde fascinerende verhalen over de geschiedenis van de woestijn en fossielen, en maakte de meest geweldige foto's voor iedereen. Je voelt zijn passie voor wat hij doet.
Als je ooit de kans krijgt om Egypte te bezoeken, mis deze reis dan niet — en vraag zeker naar Hamody. Het is meer dan alleen een tour; het is een magische ervaring die nog lang in je hart blijft na je vertrek.

My trip to Whale Valley and the White Desert was absolutely breathtaking — a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget. The landscape was otherworldly, filled with stunning rock formations, soft golden light, and a deep, peaceful silence that felt almost spiritual.
What made it truly special was my guide, Hamody. He’s the best guide I’ve ever met — kind, funny, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful. He made sure I am comfortable the entire time, shared fascinating stories about the desert’s history and fossils, and took the most amazing photos. You can really feel his passion for what he does.
If you ever get the chance to visit Egypt, do not miss this trip — and definitely ask for Hamody. It’s more than just a tour; it’s a magical experience that stays in your heart long after you leave.

Awesome. Incredibly fun
100% recommend. Driver Ali and guide Nour are fabulous. It's a great time, a lot of fun, a complete full day and a great lunch. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and this tour company. We had a wonderful time, the jeep safari is an absolute blast- so much fun and great views. That by itself is worth it, the fossils and the museum are fun as well as are the other views they take you too. It's well with the money. Getting out of Cairo and seeing some of the rest of the country is very interesting.

Hamed Abo Rakika was a fantastic guide. He took great care of us for our tour. "Rakika" knows many facts about all the places we went too. He was friendly and courteous. I would pick any tour with him again.

Incredible experience!
We had an incredible day with our tour guide Hamad Abo Rakika. The 4WD drive through the sand dunes was so much fun and we got to see a beautiful waterfall, fascinating whale fossils and a magical lake. Lunch was amazing and the whole trip felt like a great adventure – something really different from the usual sightseeing. The drivers were all amazing too. We highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Cairo!

Magical desert adventure
Hamed Abo Rakika is a great tour guide… He just not made only the trip from Cairo to El Fayoum magical and fun - with dancing, singing and talking.
He was also good and helpfull on our tour. He showed us the coolest spots, made photos and Videos for us. We Can recommend him! And the driver hamza

FAYOUM
We hadden een uitstekende dag en werd goed behandeld de hele dag met veel details over de plaatsen die we bezochten en zeer vriendelijke benadering. We voelden ons meer op ons gemak en voelden ons alsof we de plaats met familie bezocht. De sfeer was geweldig. Onze gids Hamad Abo Rakika
