Geweldig en meegaand!
Dit is een fantastische manier om Alexandrië te zien als je in Caïro verblijft en niet genoeg tijd hebt om een paar dagen in Alexandrië door te brengen. Onze chauffeur, Peter, was zeer behulpzaam en hielp ons zelfs onze bagage verplaatst naar ons nieuwe hotel voordat we op weg naar de kust. Eenmaal aangekomen nam onze gids Sharee ons mee op een ongelooflijke tour door de stad, waarbij hij ons ongelooflijke Griekse - Romeinse sites liet zien die gekleurd waren door de Egyptische cultuur. Ze was zo goed met mijn grootouders en liet ons gaan in ons eigen tempo. Zeer aan te bevelen!

Alexandria from giza
Be prepared for a long drive to Alexandria from Cairo. Very interesting sights, get to go in the catacombs. Modern library. Places weren't too busy. Guide had lots of history and very knowledgeable.

Waste of time
Messed about waiting for transport all day spent more time in traffic jams than seeing sites, and there where two others on trip which I booked as a private tour, which was awkward at times

Great experience
Great driver and a fantastic tour guide. We had a good time. The guide was very helpful even taking us photos and showing us the best places for panoramic photos and photo tricks

ドアtoドアで送迎あり、ドライバーさんはとても親切な方で安心して乗れました
初女性ガイドさんでしたが、混雑ポイントをうまく交わしたり、地中海ランチのお店も味&ロケーション共に満足でした！
連日のタイトスケジュールで疲れていたのもあり、行程の調整にも融通を利かせてくださり、とっても助かりました
やっぱりガイドさんをお願いして良かったです

Problemen
Chauffeur was 40 minuten te laat voor ophalen. Hij had ook problemen om bij de eerste halte te komen. Hij had meer onderzoek moeten doen naar verwachte wegafsluitingen. Anders zeer knap en vriendelijk.

Tour to Alexandria from Giza
This tour was an amazing way to start our vacation in Egypt.
Our driver, Ali Mohammad, arrived on time and immediately made us feel welcomed. He was incredibly hospitable, asked what type of music we liked for the drive, shared history about Alexandria along the way, and provided bottled water (which was included). He even went above and beyond by purchasing breakfast for us, which was not included in the package — a very thoughtful gesture.
Once we arrived, Ali turned us over to our tour guide, Samirah, who was also wonderful. She shared detailed history at each stop and gave us options for lunch, asking whether we preferred cultural or traditional food. We chose chicken shawarmas, and she took us to what she said was the best spot in town — it was delicious.
One thing that stood out was her patience and kindness with my aunt, who had difficulty walking. Samirah assisted her and never made her feel rushed.
On the ride back to Giza, Ali continued to be warm and attentive, letting us choose music again. Just before dropping us off, he made one last stop and surprised all five of us with a drink he called “sugar juice.” It was delicious and such a kind final touch.
This tour left an excellent first impression of Egypt. Ali Mohammad truly set the bar high — I honestly wish we could have had him for our entire trip. Highly recommend.

It was very important...
It was very important having a driver and making stops to the most important spots because Alexandria is a very big city for one day. Esam was very nice and kind. We didn't have a good experience with the food cause we didn't have any choice but going to a specific restaurant which we didn't like at all. Overall it was a good experience.

Superbe journee. Logistique parfaite. Chauffeur et guide tres gentils et competents. Visite complete avec plein d,infos. Lunch Dan's UN restaurant Sur la mer. On a ajoute petit tour de bateau Sur la mer. Vraiment une magnifique journee.
