Amazing trip to Giza from Sharms
We had an amazing day trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Giza. My wife and I travelled in a small group, which made the experience much more personal and relaxed. Everything was well organised from start to finish.
Our guide, Ahmed, was absolutely wonderful — extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very resourceful. He shared fascinating insights about the history of the pyramids and the Sphinx, answered all our questions patiently, and made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable.
Visiting the Giza Pyramids was truly unforgettable, and having such a knowledgeable guide made a huge difference. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh, especially if you’re looking for a well-organised tour with a small group and an excellent guide.

To walk like an Egyptian it’s a must do!
A long long long day no mistaken. However it’s a must do ! Pick up 3:30am air condition mini bus. I waited in hotel reception and driver came in for me ( same driver on return also ). Usual airport check in for domestic flights ( passport Egyptian visa $25 etc ). Approx 1 hour flight bottle water and small bag crisps free during flight. Driver and guid waiting for you when landed. Nile cruise to start extra $10 a good talking point and experience to do and for $10 it’s worth it. Then up to the pyramids and sphinx’s a camel ride is also a must do with great photos of the pyramids in the background yes there’s an extra charge but nothing great. Then it’s off for a good meal then a cuppa at a perfume factory. Last thing on the agenda the great Egyptian museum marvellous ,fabulous and great it certainly is. Minibus waiting back to the airport fly home on a domestic flight , minibus waiting and back to your hotel. Well worth it. Take Egyptian money for a McDonald’s if time allows they don’t accept cards or any other currency which caught me out and I had to do without until back at the airport.

Mi sono trovata molto bene ed è stata una bellissima esperienza, avevo un po’ paura perché ero da sola, ma invece mi sono sentita a mio agio e soprattutto mi sono goduta il viaggio anche grazie alla meravigliosa guida in italiano di Mohamed, detto il Cobra.

ホテルから定刻の3時にピックアップされました。午前45時、空港へ。私たちのフライトは5時に出発しました：午前40時、約1時間後にカイロに到着。到着後、到着地点でツアーガイドとドライバーに会う。
最初に行ったのはナイル川のボートトリップ。オプショナルで、1人あたり13ユーロの追加料金がかかります。やると決めて、本当に楽しかったです。ボートに乗っているのは私たちだけだったので、平和で特別な時間になりました。
次にピラミッドとスフィンクスを見学しました。これが旅のハイライトでした。ピラミッドの近くを歩いたり、触ったり、たくさん写真を撮ったり、スフィンクスを見ることができました。岩場や凹凸のある道を長時間歩くには、歩きやすい靴が必須です。
その後、オイルと香水の店に案内され、まるでセールスの罠のようでした。席に着いてお茶かコーヒーをすすめられ、さまざまなオイルや香水を見せてもらいました。価格はキャンドルディフューザー付きで小瓶4本90ユーロ、中瓶120ユーロでした。オイルや香水は好きだけど、買うのにプレッシャーを感じていて、居心地が悪かった。
続いてランチ。残念なことに、食べ物は鶏肉が非常に乾燥していたのをがっかりさせた。いくつか選択肢がありました。ドリンクは含まれておらず、料金は1人3ユーロ程度。コーヒーもジュースもおいしかった。
午後1時頃には、この部分に興奮して大エジプト博物館へ。しかし、ここで最大の問題が発生した。入り口で、ガイドが美術館のチケットは含まれておらず、自分たちで購入する必要があると教えてくれました。予約時にそうは言われなかったと説明しました。
ガイドは旅行会社に確認の電話をした。カスタマーサービスのエージェントは、私に怒鳴りつけたり、チャットのスクリーンショットを要求したり、説明を許さなかったりと、極めて失礼でした。チャット履歴を確認することを提案したが、彼女はViatorのものではないためアクセスできないと言った。確かにそうかもしれませんが、彼女の接客スキルはとても低かったのです。
1時間以上も口論して無駄にした後、自分たちでチケットを買おうとするしかなかった。チケットはQRコードを読み取って購入する必要があります。Wi - Fiが極端に遅くなり、何百人もの人が同じことをしようとしていました。スタッフが携帯でチケットの販売を持ちかけたが、他人の端末にカード情報を入力するのは気が引けた。
結局、複数回失敗した後、4 , 350エジプトポンドを現金で支払った場合、ガイドを通じてチケットを発行できると言われた。その時点では 2 – 2 しかなかったので、美術館に入りたかっただけです。空港に戻るまで残り5時間。同意した
美術館自体は素晴らしいのですが、悲しいことに先ほどのストレスや悔しさで、十分に楽しむことができませんでした。その体験のすべてが、常に歩くATMとして扱われているように感じ、正直カイロに戻るのを先延ばしにした。

Excellent trip
Excellent trip and at a very competitive price. Our guide in Cairo,Rapha, was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable even about the GEM which has only opened recently. Two shopping stops was one two many, would have preferred an extra hour in the museum as there is so much there. However an excellent trip. One tip... If you do get an e-visa and arrive in Sharm el sheikh you MUST still get your visa stamped into your passport on arrival or you'll have to go to the Central Police station to sort it out

Cairo
It was very nice! It was well organised, very pleasant experience. The bus arrived promptly, we were met by our tour guide in Cairo who was really experienced and fantastic. It was a long day but we didnt notice how time flew.On arrival back to Sharm, our driver was already waiting for us.

He made the day fun but also made sure we saw as much as we could pack into the day with lots of knowledge and advice! A great trip at a great price and worth every penny!

A long day but worth visiting the pyramids & cairo if u have never been... a great add on to a beach break.
Ahmed was a great host and guide. He Made me feel included and genuinely ensured I was happy and safe.
The day was well organised, communication good. My only advise is to remove one of the 3 arranged "shop stops" for free time at a local traditional street market or at the museum.

Perfect Pyramid Experience with Exceptional Care
I can’t recommend this tour enough! We had a personal driver, guide, and car, and from start to finish everything was handled with so much care. I let them know in advance that my mum is still recovering from a hip replacement and can only walk short distances before swelling, and they truly went above and beyond.
I’ve done this trip before, but this time felt even more special. Mario, our guide, made sure my mum didn’t miss out on anything. He knew all the best shortcuts and quieter routes, helping her get around comfortably while still seeing every highlight. His patience and kindness made such a difference to our day.
And lunch… wow. The view from the window overlooking the pyramids was absolutely incredible one of those moments that feels completely priceless.
If you’re looking for a well-organized, thoughtful, and unforgettable experience, I couldn’t recommend this team more. They helped create a memory my mum and I will cherish forever.
