Bezoek Luxor
Opgehaald bij het hotel door 2 vriendelijke chauffeurs die alles deden om onze dag te laten slagen. Helaas in Luxor met een niet bevlogen gids op pad geweest. De informatieborden gaven meer informatie dan de gids. Heel jammer want daarvoor boek je nou juist een privé gids. Weinig inspelen op onze vragen, meer belangstelling voor telefoon en collega’s. Gepikeerd doordat we zijn extra’s ,waar we voor bij konden betalen, zoals nijltocht e.d. afwezen. Dat is waarschijnlijk zijn verdienmodel. Eind van de middag vragen ‘en nu de fooi voor de gids’. We gaven hem 8 losse euro’s en toen was de reactie ‘ik wil alleen papiergeld”. De toon was al eerder op de dag gezet maar dit was de druppel. Als hij ons gedurende de dag als fijne gids had begeleid door luxor was dat papiergeld geen enkel probleem geweest.
Drankjes zitten er niet bij de hele dag niet bij de lunch en geen waterflesjes gedurende de dag. Onze fantastische chauffeurs begrepen onze verbazing en hebben zelf voor flessen water voor ons gezorgd. En suikerrietsap om ons dat te laten proberen. Dankzij Aladdin en zijn bevriende collega chauffeur geven we de dag toch een voldoende want anders zouden we deze 2 kerels te kort doen.

Toller Ausflug nach Luxor
Die private Tour von Marsa Alam nach Luxur ist sehr empfehlenswert. Wir wurden von einem netten Fahrer per Auto abgeholt, die Fahrt war zwar etwas lang...5 h aber es hat sich gelohnt. In Luxor hat uns Shabi, der deutschsprachige Guide in Empfang genommen und und durch den Tag und die Tempel und Gräber geführt. Er hatte sehr viel Wissen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und war sehr unterhaltsam. Das Essen in einen eiheimischen Lokal war sehr lecker. Wir hatten ein tollen Tag dank Shabi.

Esperienza imperdibile.
Tour privato di un gruppo famigliare di 4 persone. Contattata agenzia tramite mail e WhatsApp da casa.
Partenza alle 4 del mattino dall' hotel a Marsa Alam, con pullmino privato molto comodo e pulito. Due autisti molto professionali e con una conoscenza estrema della strada, che si intercambiavano con regolarità nella guida. Arrivo a Luxor verso le 9 e 30. La bellezza di tutti i monumenti , della valle dei re con relative principali tombe è indescrivibile e assolutamente da non perdere . Buon pranzo in un piccolo ristorante self service , sulle rive del Nilo. Acqua fresca sempre disponibile, anche sul pullman , durante tragitto. Breve navigazione sul Nilo , richiedibile, ma non compresa nel programma. Rientro in hotel a Marsa Alam verso le 21. Tratto di strada nel deserto molto suggestiva con tramonto spettacolare.

Long journey but WORTH IT!
What an amazing experience. Despite of the time on the road, 5:30 h on the way in from Marsa Alam resorts (several police checkpoints) and 4 h on the way back (just one police checkpoint), the time spent on the road is totally worth when you are there and see how magnificent the temple and tombs are.
Our guide, Naama, she was excellent. What a passionate person explaining everything with such a level of detail. My wife enjoyed a lot her chats with Naama since she is knowledgeable in ancient Egypt. Definitely would count with Naama for our next Marsa Alam Tour excursion.
We added the felucca sailing and Tutankhamun, in my opinion, not worthy. I’d prefer using that money to do the hot air balloon instead.
Overall, great experience. Also, kudos to our driver for all the tips during our trip and offering water + sugar cane drinks on our way back. The only thing to improve, aircon in the car to be a little bit stronger. It felt warm most of the time (we didn’t say anything, our fault there)

We had a long, but wonderful day. It was all so inpressive. Our gide, ashraf, had so many knowledge about the history the places we went. Our favorite was the valley of kings. Thanks a lot guys!

Esperienza bellissima grazie a Marsa Alam Tour
Sono stato a marsa alam con la mia famiglia ed abbiamo scelto di fare 2 escursioni con marsa alam tour:
1 Un giorno da marsa alam a luxor con auto privata nuova, aria condizionata e 2 autisti che si alternavano alla guida, arrivati a Luxor ci attendeva Ahmed la guida che ci ha spiegato in modo dettagliato tutte visite fatte.
2 Nel deserto abbiamo fatto il safari, cammellata, motorata,cena con i beduini ed infinite abbiano assistito ad un ballo tipico della zona, esperienza molto divertente, volevo ringraziare la nostra guida Miriam(italiana) molto gentile e disponibile.
Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Ahmed Khalil il riferente di Marsa alam tour che ha permesso che tutto andasse per il meglio.
Grazie spero a presto.....

Fantastic, good price and very trustable
This was an amazing adventure by driver Waheed and private guide Khalil who also speaks fantastic Dutch.
His enthousiasm and knowledge about the Egyptian historry is fabulous.
The lunch and refreshments were also lovely.
Such a friendly and trustable men, Thank you very much!!
The trip was worth every Euro.
Departure at 4am sharp and safe driven back home at 9pm, a fantastic experience.

Marsa Alam to Luxor – Day trip
Our two drivers and guide Hami were very welcoming and friendly. The car was airconditioned, clean, and on time. Hami was knowledgeable, and his English was very good. Despite the scorching heat and 6-hour drive each way from Marsa Alam resort, we are glad we had a chance to see some of Egypt’s iconic sites. Overall, we felt safe and would use Marsa Alam tours for our future trips. Please be advised of the driving distance and lack of clean, tourist-welcoming rest areas along the drive and in Luxor.

Fantastic day with our amazing guide Hoda
We’re just on our way back from a fantastic day trip from Makadi Bay to Luxor with our amazing guide Hoda.
Travel time was about four hours and once we were there we had a really great trip seeing many sights in Luxor including the Vally of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple. We also had a lovely river cruise on the Nile too.
Throughout our guide Hoda was really knowledgeable, explaining the history of every site and the best things to see there. She was also fantastic with our two children too. If you have chance to do this tour, do ask for her as your guide as she was simply great.
