Day trip to Luxor
This tour was amazing. It's an early start and a long journey but totally worth it. You see a lot on the way. Be warned, the driving in Egypt is completely crazy but the driver was very experienced and we felt safe. Our lovely guide, Hoda, met us in Luxor and took us to some incredible sights. She's very friendly and so knowledgeable. She told us a lot about the history and we learnt so much - really fascinating and mind boggling. We especially loved the Karnak Temple. I went on this trip with my 2 teenage children and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sehr interessanter Tag
Durch unseren Reiseführer Alibaba hatten wir einen sehr informativen Tag. Da er Archäologe und Ägyptologe ist und auch selbst schon an Ausgrabungen im Tal der Könige teilgenommen hat, haben wir sehr viel über sein Land und dessen Geschichte erfahren.

Journée inoubliable à Louxor
Résidant au Sentido Oriental Dream entre Quseir et Marsa Alam, départ le matin à 4:30 pour Louxor. Arrivée à 9:30 pour retrouver Hoda, guide francophone. Elle nous donne tout de suite beaucoup d’éléments d’information, immédiatement nous plongeons avec elle dans l’Histoire, petite et grande, de l’antiquité égyptienne...
Arrêt aux deux colosses de Memnon, et surprise avec de toutes nouvelles fouilles : un troisième colosse vient d’être trouvé la semaine dernière!
Puis temple d’Hatschepsout, vallée des rois et plusieurs tombeaux (supplément à payer si vous voulez voir Toutankhamon), arrêt chez les tailleurs de pierre, et bon restaurant au bord du Nil avec vue sur le temple de Louxor, puis traversée du Nil en bateau, visite du temple de Louxor (en supplément), et enfin visite du temple de Karnak au couché su soleil...le tout accompagné du grand savoir de Hoda, et de son humour!
Nous avons la sensation d’avoir gagné beaucoup de temps grâce à elle (elle va très vite pour obtenir les billets d’entrée à l’arrivée sur chaque site touristique...).
Hoda répondra à toutes vos questions et même plus!
Elle a un diplôme d’égyptologie et à ainsi poursuivi ses études en France...c’est une perle rare!
Nous nous félicitons encore d’avoir eu l’idée de réserver ses services auprès de Marsa Alam Tours, ne manquez pas cette opportunité...
Merci également au chauffeur, qui nous a permis de passer les checkpoints en toute « fluidité »...

Wonderful tour with Hoda
The trip to Luxor was amazing. With Hoda as our guide we’ve seen some local things as well and she had a lot of knowledge about ancient egypt. I would recommend this tour to everybody, it is worth all the effort.

Luxor tour
We had a 1 day tour of luxor with our guide, Hoda. Hoda is from luxor and has a degree in Egyptology so she is very knowledgeable. Any question we asked, she was able to answer. She will also make sure you get the tour you want - we would recommend Hoda as a guide!

We booked a day tour Marsa Alam-Luxor and it was an amazing experience.
Everything was well organized, the car ride to get there is a bit long, but it’s worth it, if you have the time and will.
Our tour guide Hoda was very lovely, she showed us the temples and she told us all the stories related to it. You could ask her all the questions you wanted and she knew all the best spots. She took good care of us with some delicious Egyptian food and arranging all the tickets. It wouldn’t have been the same experience without her. Thank you Hoda and thank you to our driver!

Fantastic day trip to Luxor
Words cannot truly describe how wonderful this excursion was!
Marsa Alam Tours are an excellent travel company. From my first enquiry to booking the trip the communication from this company was superb. Any question I asked was replied to quickly and efficiently. Booking the excursion was hassle free and easy to do.
Our driver Assem was such a polite and kind gentleman and most importantly a very safe driver.
Our tour guide Hamy was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of all the sites we visited was phenomenal. He was such a great guide and made our trip exceptional.
Both men are a credit to Marsa Alam Tours!
We decided to do a private tour of Luxor as we didn’t want to be part of a large tour group and it was by far the best decision we made.
We visited:
Karnak Temple - such an amazing historical site. The pillars and structures are without a doubt mind blowing. The site is huge and everywhere you look there is a wonder to be seen.
Luxor Temple - again the structures and statues are so amazing to see. The colours on the walls that are thousands of years old are just superb.
River ride on the Nile - this was just great. We got to steer the boat and had drinks while sailing down the river. It was nice and relaxing.
Paper factory - we were shown how paper was made many years ago and it was very educational
Lunch - this was in a traditional Egyptian eatery and was delicious. All the staff were kind and friendly
Valley of the Kings - this was by far the best part of the trip. The tombs we went in were out of this world. It’s hard to believe they were created so long ago and it just fills you with awe and wonder
Temple of Hatshepsut - again another fabulous site with great things to see
Colossi of Memnon - these 2 megastructures are magical to see
Alabaster factory - we got to see how stone was carved traditionally and again it was very educational
The day was action packed and so magical. I would definitely recommend this tour 100%

Wonderful day in Luxor
Thanks to Hoda and our driver for a well spent day. The journey is long but having a knowledgeable personal guide is worth it. Go see Rameses V and VI tomb, it is well preserved and very detailed. Also nobody was there except us and a random Egyptian guard who explained some of the symbols in greater detail. Lunch was great, no European style bulls*it, just Egyptian food, rest of the activities was also fun. Improvement suggestion: less mobile calls, more hands-on explanations :-)

Très bonne journée
Nous avons passé une belle journée.
Prise en charge à l'hôtel un peu avant 4h00 par Assem le chauffeur.
Voyage jusqu'à Louxor où nous arrivons peu avant 10 heures avec une prise en charge par Hoda la guide francophone qui nous accompagnera jusqu'à 16h00 pour la visite des sites avec de nombreuses explications et anecdotes.
Retour sans encombre à l'hôtel vers 22h45.
Merci aux organisateurs, à Assem et à Hoda pour ces bons moments que nous n'oublierons pas. .

Very satisfied with private tour to Luxor from Marsa Alam
Me and my husband took a private tour to Luxor by car from Marsa Alam from Marsa Alam Tours. We were veeery satisfied!! The price is very good for the private car and private guide-egyptologist in your language!! We booked the tour through whatsapp 2 days before (when were already in Marsa Alam). All perfectly in time; good car; very organized, nice and knowledgeable guide-egiptologist Radwan. We asked for the tour in Italian and the given guide Radwan spoke very good Italian (he does also the tours in English). The restaurant for lunch was good with a lot of choice. We even had the private boat (there was nobody else) to cross the Nile :) All in all - very satisfied with this travel agency and and you can book it without any doubt! We took from them also Sataya Reef excursion (dolphins) - also very satisfied! Thank you for your service!
