We had an excellent trip to Luxor. The guide was perfect, very kind, communicative, with very good level of English and with extensive knowledge of egyptology. We learned a lot, he could answer all our questions and we had a very good time together. We strongly recommend him as a specialist in ancient Egypt, having very good cultural, political and geographical knowledge about Egypt.

We were picked up at 4 am. It was about a 5 hour ride from our resort near Port Ghalib. There is a road that would take an hour of the ride but tourists are not allowed to travel that road. The driver amazed us with how well he knows the roads, I would not recommend driving yourself. There is new roads and old roads but the drivers have knowledge of where all of the potholes are. Once in Luxor we picked up our tourgude Samira. She was absolutely wonderfull and started sharing what the itinuary of the day would be and her knowledge of our surroubdings and of what we drove past in Luxor. She showed all mentioned places. I love Egypt and tried to learn a lot about it, but I've learned so much from her! Samira also answered every question we had. Made sure the streetvenders did not bother us too much and warned beforehand what to watch out for. She also had a few suggestions of what to see, translated and recommended what was best for our day trip. It was very clear a day just wasnt enough to see all Luxor had to offer. For our first trip to Egypt, the places we went to were absolutely perfect. I'm already planning another trip to Luxor for next year, would love to have Samira as our guide again! I will take her advise and come at a later tine, seeing july and august are a few of the hottest months there (can get above 50°C. We were lucky with 'only' 42°C). Having a private trip was also really awesome, made it much more personal and it really gives all opportunity to see what you want and go about all places on your own tempo instead of having a grouptour where you have to adapt to the tour

War leider eine Kauf Veranstaltung, überteuert und frech. Wurden zu einer Touristen Falle gebracht wo angeblich Hand gefertigte Skulpturen verkauft werden die man aber bei jedem Stand in der Stadt für ein Bruchteil des Preises in gleicher Qualität kaufen konnte. Luxor ist wunderschön aber leider nicht mit diesem Guide. Unser Fahrer allerdings war super nett und hat uns pünktlich um 4 von unserem Hotel abgeholt und sicher und schnell nach Luxor und wieder zurückgebracht, er war sehr freundlich und höflich. Under Guide Magda allerdings eher weniger, sie war zwar nett aber konnte leider nicht so viel zu alles Sehenswürdigkeiten erklären, die Tour war sehr auf Zeit taktiert und man wurde schnell weiter gescheucht. Ihr deutsch war bestenfalls mittelmäßig und ihr Wissen ebenfalls, das ständige telefonieren hat zum Erfolg der Tour auch nicht beigetragen. Nicht alle Programmpunkte wurde eingehalten.

È stata un'esperienza magnifica! Tutto è andato per il meglio! Io e il mio compagno siamo partiti alle 3:40 dal nostro Resort con una auto privata e climatizzata. Il nostro autista guida davvero molto bene e conosce perfettamente la strada perché, ci ha spiegato, ogni giorno fa quel percorso fino a Luxor... Quindi non temete! Per tutta la durata della gita, l'autista era sempre pronto con l'auto per portarci da un sito all'altro. È sempre stato puntuale e anche il viaggio del ritorno è andato bene. A Luxor c'era ad attenderci la nostra guida privata, Maddalena. È una archeologa ed egittologa davvero esperta e professionale. Ci ha spiegato davvero tantissime cose interessanti e appassionati. È anche molto simpatica e gentile! Senza la nostra guida esperta, questa visita non avrebbe avuto senso! Credo sia estremamente importante non solo guardare, ma anche capire le meraviglie e la storia dietro ai monumenti e resti dell'antico Egitto. Anche il viaggio in feluca sul Nilo è stato delizioso! Consiglio a tutti questa esperienza!

It was a wonderful experience! Everything went smoothly! My partner and I left at 3:40 a.m. from our resort in a private, air-conditioned car. Our driver drives really well and knows the route perfectly because, he explained to us, he takes that route to Luxor every day... So have no fear! Throughout the trip, the driver was always ready with the car to take us from one site to another. He was always on time, and the return trip also went well. In Luxor our private guide, Maddalena, was waiting for us. She is a really knowledgeable and professional archaeologist and Egyptologist. She really explained so many interesting and passionate things to us. She is also very nice and kind! Without our expert guide, this visit would have been meaningless! I think it is extremely important not only to look, but also to understand the wonders and history behind the monuments and remains of ancient Egypt. The felucca ride on the Nile was also delightful! I recommend this experience to everyone!

We had an amazing tour today with Ahmed Elsisi! He walked us through what we were going to see and had loads of fun and helpful information about the history of the tombs/temples. He let us chose what we did and didn’t want to see, and let us know how much time we should be spending in each space. It was a very fun and educational experience and i would HIGHLY recommend! Thank you Ahmed for an amazing day i will not soon forget! :)

We’ve had a great day! Ahmed Elsisi was a great guide and photographer. My one (minor) complaint is that our cruise down the Nile was on a motor-boat, not a felucca, but a Nike cruise is still a Nile cruise. I will highly recommend this in the future.

We had a wonderful tour of Luxor. Our Egyptologist Ahmed Elsisi was friendly, funny and very knowledgable. We started with a hot air balloon ride which was unforgettable. We had a great time exploring the valley of the kings and learning about the Pharaohs. The highlight was Habu temple which is absolutely incredible. I had a fantastic time and would recommend Legacy tours to friends and family. Thank you to Ahmed and our driver Mohammad who made this day so amazing!

We had a fantastic day trip to Luxor with a private car journey and a very knowledge and interesting tour guide, Ahmed. Not only was he full of fascinating information but also doubled up as our private photographer to capture the memories of the day, he was brilliant! We managed to see and do so much with the driver always on hand to transport us to our next destination. Would highly recommend this trip. *Make sure to take small change and hand sanitiser as the public toilets in the tourist destinations require payment and don’t always have soap!
