An interesting few hours exploring a different side of Cairo. Our guide was knowledgeable & friendly, we had a great time. There is some persuasion to visit certain shops at the end of the tour which we would have preferred not to do, but we understand the arrangement between tours & these shops so sucked it up by agreeing to visit one

Our experience in Cairo with Selvia and Ramy was nothing short of incredible. From beginning to end, they made our trip unforgettable, comfortable, and full of insight. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to show us around this beautiful city. Selvia, our guide, was truly outstanding. Her deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture brought every site to life from the majestic pyramids to the vibrant streets of Cairo. She explained everything with passion, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. Every stop was perfectly planned, allowing us to learn, experience, and capture wonderful memories without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Beyond her professionalism, Selvia’s kindness and attention to detail stood out. She constantly checked that we were comfortable, offered great photography tips, and even adjusted the itinerary to suit our interests. It’s rare to meet someone who cares so deeply about making every guest feel special, and she definitely succeeded. Ramy our driver, deserves equal praise. Navigating Cairo’s busy streets is no easy task, yet he drove with great skill, patience, and confidence always making us feel safe and relaxed. He was punctual every morning, kept the car spotless and cool, and waited for us with a warm smile after every stop. His calm and friendly nature added so much to the experience; it felt like we were exploring with friends rather than a guide and driver. What truly set Selvia and Ramy apart was their teamwork and genuine care. They worked seamlessly together to make our days run smoothly, balancing historical insight with comfort and flexibility. We had a very good experience with our guide, Ehab Mehana, in Cairo. He has extensive knowledge and provided insightful explanations throughout the visit. We saw the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and passed by parts of the old city and an old mosque, which he also explained clearly. It was also impressive that he could read Coptic, which added depth to the visit. Ehab was very friendly, spoke fluent English, and was flexible in adapting the itinerary to our preferences, skipping typical tourist shop stops, which we really appreciated. Our driver, Mohammed, was calm and professional, and the ride was smooth and comfortable.

Fady (guide) and Shadi (driver) were excellent! Fady was extremely kind, knowledgeable and funny. He was willing to pivot to fit what we wanted to do, and knew his history and was very informational during the tour of the churches and mosques. Would absolutely recommend this tour & guide driver!! Thank you for spending the day with us!

Wir wurden auf die Minute genau zur verabredeten Zeit durch unseren Fahrer Kazem abgeholt. Danach hatten wir eine informative Führung mit unserer Guide Selvia. Sie war sehr freundlich, beantwortete geduldig unsere Fragen und ließ uns Zeit, die einzelnen Spots selber zu erkunden. Allerdings braucht es definitiv mehr Zeit um neben der Muhammad-Ali-Moschee, dem koptischen Viertel und dem Bazar Chan el-Chalili auch noch das islamische Kairo/Altstadt zu sehen. ACHTUNG! Hier auf TripAdvisor steht in der Tourbeschreibung „Islamic mosque“, auf Viator wurde es aber als „Islamic Cairo“ aufgeführt!!

I booked this tour for my family as a way to see Cairo on our first day. Our tour guide Roma has incredible knowledge of both the city and the extensive history of Egypt and we learnt a lot. Both Roma and the driver were very accommodating for my family which included young and old. We had a great first day in Cairo.
