We only booked the trip the day before, and were very happy to have a smart car, driver and private tour guide Ahmed for just myself and husband for the day. Ahmed was charming and informative and we had a great day seeing the sights which are further away from the cities. He also took some fabulous pics of us in front of the pyramids!

Would have been 5 stars if we had a better guide. Basically, we didn't get to do all the items on the itinerary because the guide was in a hurry. According to the supplier (Emo Tours) "Your tour taka about 8 hour including pickup and drop off" that's the exact words from their WhatsApp message. In reality we spent about 3 hours and 35 minutes. Under 5.5 hours including travel. So what happened to the other 2.5 hours??? The guide was passive aggressive, with lots of irritated facial expressions when we asked questions. Was slightly rude at times. The guide seemed in a hurry to get it over with and so we missed a number of things from the itinerary. However, he still took us to a carpet place for an unwanted upsell opportunity. The driver was great though. The sites that we did see were excellent and are the reason why this didn't get just a one star rating. In fairness, we managed to get a refund through Viator with no difficulty, which probably confirms how bad things were with this tour. Overall it always comes down to the attitude of the guide. We did other tours in Egypt and they were all good thanks to having helpful and positive guides. The guide on this specific tour was terrible

We (self plus wife) were collected in a clean car with functioning seatbelts by cheerful and informative guide Mahmoud and driver Ayman. Mahmoud spoke excellent English and clearly knew his subject. We dictated the pace of where and when and had a thoroughly great trip which ran for nearly seven hours by the time we’d had lunch. We booked on line directly rather than through the hotel. Would very much recommend the trip.

Lo mejor fue entrar en las pirámides de Dashur!! Los lugares perfectos... La guia no nos gustó tanto. No era antipática ni nada así, pero no tenía aquella gracia que se le pide para tener una experiencia 10. De ahí que no ponga 5 estrellas.

ガイドのモナさんがきっちり時間通りにロビ－で待っててくれてスタ－ト。 とても知識のある素敵な女性でした。 このツアーは基本的に砂漠の中をうろうろするので、すごい暑いです、日焼け対策万全で行かないといけないです。 ピラミッドの中に入れるのもあって、すごい急な階段を登った後に入口があるのですが、アラフィフ世代にはきつかったです。それでもやっと中に入ろうとしたのですが、他の観光客で混んでいて、腰をかがめて歩かないといけない狭い通路で混雑して、酸欠気味になったので断念しました。入口でお年寄りの白人男性も倒れていて、救助隊を待ってるとの事でしたので、もっと若いうちに来たらよかったな、とつくづく思いました。 くたばってる私達に、モナさんがフレッシュマンゴージュースを買ってきてくれて、一気にリフレッシュ。その後パピルスの生産所みたいなところに連れて行ってもらいおみやげに買いました。 オプションでランチも付けてたのですが、エジプト料理でまぁまぁ美味しかったです。 全体的に楽しかったです。

Pick up was on time and our guide was super nice and kind. Explained lots of interesting historical facts about the places we visited. To see the oldest pyramids is a must in my opinion. Going inside the pyramid was also incredible, but be warned, it is very difficult to walk in there. If you are not in good physical shape consider not going inside the pyramids. That being said, it was the high point of the tour. All in all, great guide and great experience!
