A Brilliant Day Trip with Said – Perfect for Me and My Son
My son and I had a lovely experience on our guided tour, and our driver Said was absolutely brilliant. He arrived at our hotel entrance early, which was a great start. The drive to each location was informative, as our driver (Said Elsayed) told us about the things we would see along the way, keeping the long journey feeling short. At every stop, our time was sufficient, and we were clearly informed about what to do there and what was worth seeing. Our first stop at Saqqara was a real highlight. Said came in with us and gave us a little tour around spots we would have otherwise missed. He also kindly helped take many photos of us, capturing memories that will last forever. The logistics were straightforward, and the air conditioning was a definite plus. We had a fun and safe journey and couldn't imagine doing it any other way. A huge thank you to Said for making our trip special, and to the tour company for a lovely trip.

Great experience
We had Khalef as guide who was amazing. He took time to explain everything related to our tour and he was just as passionate explaining them to us as we were to learn about the history. He also took amazing pictures of us! What we loved about this tour was learning about what the hieroglyphs and drawings depicted, what story they told about the tomb owners and how significant they were to the ancient Egyptians which Khalef kindly explained. There are so many interesting details! We ended the tour with a delicious Egyptian buffet lunch.

Discrepancy in the Itinerary
Not a good experience on this occasion. The guide was quite late to arrive. Found discrepancy in the itinerary advertised by Viator and the actual program the local guide had. The guide was good though. Viator should collaborate and finalize the itinerary with the local agencies before advertising.

Interesting pyramids
This was a great trip to see the 3 ‘practice’ pyramids and to go inside the tombs at Saqqara. These pyramids were a lot quieter and just as interesting, and the drive there was good through the palm trees etc. Sayed was very informative and took some great photos for us, our driver was also very good. Would recommend.

Gran actividad, guía mejorable
El conductor nos recogió puntual y nos acompañó todo el viaje, recogimos al guía, realizamos todo el itinerario y volvimos a dejar al guían antes de llegar de nuevo a nuestro hotel. Seleccionamos un guía en español y tuvimos un guía que hablaba portugués con algo de español, entenderle exigía un gran esfuerzo y nos contaba cosas que tras buscarlo en internet eran incorrectas, quizás por no comprender del todo el español. Hubiéramos agradecido que las recogidas del guía hubieran sido fuera del tiempo de actividad y mejores explicaciones por su parte.

It was good experience. Everything went according to plan. The tour started right on time and everything was done as mentioned in the itenary. The guide Hazem and the driver both were very professional. Overall I would recommend this.

Recommend it
We had a great time. Hazem was a great guide and imparted lot o knowledge and inside tips. He is also a good photographer taking a lot of pictures! Highly recommended. Apart from the pyramids we went to the carpet school and Egyptian cotton shop where great quality items were available for purchase. A great day out
