Karnak è un antico tempio egizio situato sulla riva orientale del fiume Nilo a Tebe (l'odierna Luxor). Copre più di 100 ettari, un'area più grande di alcune antiche città.
Costruito nel corso di centinaia di anni da Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamon e altri faraoni, il Tempio di Luxor era il centro religioso più grande e significativo dell'antico Egitto. In quella che allora era Tebe, il Tempio di Luxor era "il luogo della Prima Occasione", dove il dio Amon sperimentò la rinascita durante la cerimonia di incoronazione del faraone rievocata ogni anno.
La sponda occidentale di Luxor era stata il sito di sepolture reali sin dal 2100 a.C. circa, ma furono i faraoni del periodo del Nuovo Regno (1550-1069 a.C.) che scelsero questa valle isolata dominata dalla vetta a forma di piramide di Al Qurn ( Il Corno). Una volta chiamata la Grande Necropoli di Milioni di Anni del Faraone, o il Luogo della Verità, la Valle dei Re ha 63 magnifiche tombe reali.
A Deir Al Bahri, gli occhi si concentrano prima sulle drammatiche scogliere calcaree aspre che si innalzano per quasi 300 metri sopra la pianura desertica, solo per rendersi conto che ai piedi di tutta questa immensa bellezza si trova un monumento ancora più straordinario, l'abbagliante Tempio di Hatshepsut. Il tempio dall'aspetto quasi moderno si fonde magnificamente con le scogliere da cui è in parte tagliato: un matrimonio fatto in paradiso. La maggior parte di ciò che vedi è stata ricostruita meticolosamente.

A Luxor, la mia parte preferita dell'esperienza è stata la mia visita alla Valle dei Re. Ho avuto modo di girare un video della mummia del re Tutankhamon e di visitare almeno altre 3 tombe. Anche visitare il tempio della regina Hatshepsut è stato interessante.

とても快適に楽しくエジプト旅行をすることができました。ガイドのAzabはとても親切で知識も豊富で、何度も私たちを助けてくれました。チップや買い物のことも私たちが損をしないように何でも教えてくれます。一度、ホテルを出て1人でルクソールを歩いてみたのですが、すぐに客引きに捕まり、高額な買い物をさせられそうになったり、物乞いに囲まれたりして、いかに自分達がガイドによって守られていたかを知りました。観光客が1人で歩いていると絶対にぼったくられますので、エジプト旅行では絶対にツアーをつけた方が楽しめると思います。少しでも英語がわかるなら日本語で見つかるツアーではなくこのツアーに参加することを強くおすすめします(日本語で見つけられるツアーより金額が安いし、ガイドの質が高い)。このツアーに参加したおかげで私はエジプトの人が本当に好きになりました。ツアー終わりにはAzabを家族のように思っていました。Azabありがとう！

The trip was a wonderful experience! Our guide, Azab, did a fantastic job. He took great care of all the details and provided a detailed explanation at each of the places we visited. He was friendly and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend this trip and him as a guide.

I highly recommend this tour with Mohamed Sayed! He is extremely knowledgeable and made sure I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler visiting Egypt for the first time. We saw the Karnak and Luxor temples, Valley of the kings and queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. It was incredible to see history up close and so well preserved. I learned so much and highly recommend this tour as something you absolutely have to see in Luxor and overall in Egypt.

We had great fun with our trip!! Luxor has so many gems, specially Karnak temple and Valley of Kings! Our guide Mohammed was great, he gave his best to make us comfortable and make this tour memorable!

I cannot express how much I loved this tour! The cruise was a great way to see different cities. Our guide Asab was absolutely fantastic and takes great pictures! He is so knowledgeable about each site. He is protective, trustworthy and so kind! One tip, do the extras (like the Nubian village)- you won't regret it!

I’m going to be honest, I have no idea what we would have done without our tour guide, Azab! Not only did he tell us the history of temples and tombs, but he showed us daily life for the modern people living in Luxor and answered our many cultural questions. He never shied away from hard questions, but answered them with honesty and grace. He is excellent with children and went out of his way to find cool experiences for an 11yo boy. Do it! You will think it’s worth your time and money!!

My fiance and I went on a Nile Ril er cruise from Luxor to Aswan and Ahmed Awad was our tour guide, we had the best time, it was seamlessly organized from the pick up in the morning to the information at the historical sights. Ahmed even knew where to take great pictures of my fiance and I. Ahmed made my dream birthday vacation. Amazing. I felt like a VIP! Thank you again, Ahmed!

This Luxor to Aswan Egypt trip with Ahmed Awad as our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. Ahmed was informative, kind, funny, patient. Ahmed knew all the special places to take the best pictures at the historical sights. I have traveled many places and he is top tier!
