Karnak è un antico tempio egizio situato sulla riva orientale del fiume Nilo a Tebe (l'odierna Luxor). Copre più di 100 ettari, un'area più grande di alcune antiche città.
Costruito nel corso di centinaia di anni da Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamon e altri faraoni, il Tempio di Luxor era il centro religioso più grande e significativo dell'antico Egitto. In quella che allora era Tebe, il Tempio di Luxor era "il luogo della Prima Occasione", dove il dio Amon sperimentò la rinascita durante la cerimonia di incoronazione del faraone rievocata ogni anno.
La sponda occidentale di Luxor era stata il sito di sepolture reali sin dal 2100 a.C. circa, ma furono i faraoni del periodo del Nuovo Regno (1550-1069 a.C.) che scelsero questa valle isolata dominata dalla vetta a forma di piramide di Al Qurn ( Il Corno). Una volta chiamata la Grande Necropoli di Milioni di Anni del Faraone, o il Luogo della Verità, la Valle dei Re ha 63 magnifiche tombe reali.
A Deir Al Bahri, gli occhi si concentrano prima sulle drammatiche scogliere calcaree aspre che si innalzano per quasi 300 metri sopra la pianura desertica, solo per rendersi conto che ai piedi di tutta questa immensa bellezza si trova un monumento ancora più straordinario, l'abbagliante Tempio di Hatshepsut. Il tempio dall'aspetto quasi moderno si fonde magnificamente con le scogliere da cui è in parte tagliato: un matrimonio fatto in paradiso. La maggior parte di ciò che vedi è stata ricostruita meticolosamente.

Me and muy daughter took the tour to Luxor and Aswan and had a great Time we took a Lot of pictures and our guide Mohamed Sayed was great very kind and profesional and knew perfectlly the history of the touristc Places we visited i recomend him very much.

Me and my nom took the tour with guide Mohamed Sayed in Luxor and Aswan and it was really good, all the service and the views were amazing, also our guide Mohamed was really kind and profesional, puntual and it was really nice to talk to and that made our experience very enjoyable. I recommend him very much he is the Best.

My husband and I visited Egypt in March for my 50th birthday trip. We spent 14 days here, traveling through Cairo, Hurghada, Luxor and Aswan. We had the pleasure of receiving Mohammed as our tour guide in Luxor and Aswan. He took us to many temples, the Friendship Tower and the High Dam, the Botanical Gardens, Nubian Village and Museum, several cotton and jewelry stores AND he also was kind enough to take us shopping so I could find a caftan and traditional Muslim dress! Mohammed is so knowledgeable about Egyptian history, and he makes you feel comfortable at all times. I really appreciate his leadership style and how he takes command but is not overbearing. I really enjoyed meeting him and highly recommend booking him when you visit Egypt!

Mohammad is the best! Super knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and just a great tour guide. Went above and beyond re what we wanted to do and see. Five stars truly don’t do his service, subject matter expertise, and congeniality any justice. Do yourself a favor and ask for him to be your guide. He is the consummate professional.

La nostra guida, Ahmed Awad, è stata consigliata da un'amica e aveva assolutamente ragione! ! La sua conoscenza è incredibile. Mentre ci spostavamo da un sito all'altro, ha spiegato ciascuno in modo così approfondito, rispondendo pazientemente alle domande, assicurandosi sempre che ogni nostra esigenza fosse soddisfatta. L'intera esperienza dall'inizio alla fine è stata sicuramente un'esperienza "un viaggio indimenticabile"! ! Consiglio vivamente e vivamente Ahmed Awad, Jakada Tours, per un'incredibile cattura della storia e del misticismo di questo bellissimo paese.

Questo tour è stata un'esperienza straordinaria. Mio marito ed io abbiamo fatto un tour privato di East e West Luxor e la guida era Ahmed Emam. I luoghi che abbiamo visto durante il tour hanno ispirato soggezione. Ahmed è una guida fenomenale. Era molto comunicativo, ben informato e appassionato dei luoghi che abbiamo visitato e della storia dell'antico Egitto.

Ahmed Awad was our tour guide in Luxor. He was absolutely amazing. He is very detailed and knowledgeable about everything we were visiting. I would request him if i ever get the opportunity to return to Egypt. If you are looki g for a tour guide....he is your guy.

Did a tour with Ahmad Awad in Luxor/Aswan/Edfu. He was very knowledgeable about the topic and knew exactly the right spots and places to go. Learned a lot about ancient Egyptian history and culture. Highly recommended

Egypt is my dream trip and thanks to Jakada Tours and my guide, Azad, it is one that I will remember forever. My trip companion couldn’t go in the last minute, so it ended up being a solo trip. Azad provided excellent service, was responsive to any questions or requests, knowledgable about the sites we visited, and was always prompt/on time. He recommended to add the Nubian Village to my itinerary and I’m so glad that I did. Azad also helped to make my birthday special and memorable by asking the cruise staff to do a surprise cake and birthday song during dinner. Thank you Jakada and Azad for making my Egypt trip the trip of a lifetime!
