Il Tempio di Hatshepsut, noto anche come Deir el-Bahari, è un antico tempio funerario egiziano situato sulla riva occidentale del fiume Nilo vicino alla città di Luxor. Fu costruito per la regina Hatshepsut, una delle poche donne faraoni dell'antico Egitto, che regnò nel XV secolo a.C. (circa 1479-1458 a.C.). Il Tempio di Hatshepsut è considerato una delle realizzazioni architettoniche più notevoli dell'antico Egitto. È stato progettato da Senenmut.
Colossi of Memnon

I Colossi di Memnone sono due enormi statue di pietra situate sulla riva occidentale del fiume Nilo vicino alla città di Luxor in Egitto. Sono tutto ciò che resta di un più grande complesso di templi funerari costruito dal faraone Amenhotep III durante il XIV secolo a.C. (circa 1350-1334 a.C.). Le statue raffigurano Amenhotep III seduto sul trono e ciascuna statua è alta circa 18 metri (60 piedi) e pesa circa 700 tonnellate. Erano scolpiti in singoli blocchi di arenaria quarzite e originariamente collocati all'ingresso del tempio del faraone. Le statue furono create per custodire il tempio e per rappresentare il potere e l'autorità divina del faraone.

Excelente primer tour en Egipto com guía en español!!!!!!

Primer tour en Egipto y Ajmed, nuestro guía en español, hizo que nuestra visita al valle de los reyes, Hatshepsut y los colosos de Mamnon fuese inolvidable. Es muy diferente entrar a un templo solo y deslumbrarse sin entender lo que se ve, a hacerlo con un guía que se sabe toda la historia de Egipto. El tour privado fue muy bueno porque se puede hacer a nuestro ritmo, sin correr y con todo resuelto (entradas, transporte, bebidas, etc). Recomendadísimo y si es con Ajmed mejor!

Half day tour to Valley of Kings (King Tut), Queen Hatshesput Temple, Colossi of Mamnon

Abdo was an excellent tour guide and our driver was also great. Car was air conditioned and clean and I felt very safe with our driver. Abdo was very knowledgeable about the three sites we visited and was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend!

Excellente expérience

Superbe visite guidée, site magnifique, prestation avec guide et chauffeur. Le fait d'être accompagné nous a été très utile aux vus du caractère exceptionnel du site. Deux personnes ponctuelles, et un guide super compétant.

Great sights, but little time at the valley of the kings

We booked the option with a driver and guide and Mohamed, our guide, was really friendly and knowledgable. With this option, the guide will give you information before the sights and then wait for you in a café while you see the tombs and temple. The sights were awesome and we recommend visiting them, however, we felt a bit rushed at the main site (Valley of kings) where we bought the normal ticket (which gives you access to 3 tombs) and the additional tomb for Tut. Mohamed informed us that if we want to do the 4 tombs, it will cost additional 400EGP for him as well as the driver, as they will wait a bit longer. So we ended up just visiting 2 tombs + tut. We were given 40mins to visit these 3 tombs. We would have liked to get a bit more time for this part of the tour and use the tickets fully/for all 3 tombs included in the ticket. Afterwards you continue your tour as described. If you do not do the additional workshop visits, the tour takes in total about 3 hours. Mohamed bought the included bottled water for us upon asking for it and did so with a smile - which he had for the whole trip. That was very pleasant. Tips for guide and driver are separate. Edit: Upon recieving our review, the tour operator contacted us immediately and offered generous compensation to make up for the rushed time/not using the 3 tomb-ticket fully at the valley of the kings.They assured us that this is not policy and apologized in an honest way. We appreciated their quick response and willingness to provide another service to give us a great experience for our stay.

Great Tour of West Bank

We had an amazing tour of Luxor’s West Bank with our guide Ali, who was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the day. Ali made the ancient history easy to understand and enjoyable, answering all our questions with patience and depth. It was clear he has a real passion for Egypt’s history and culture, which made the experience even better. The pace of the tour was perfect, very informative without feeling rushed and we left with a much deeper appreciation for the wonders of Luxor. Our driver Ahmed was great and the drive to each stop was comfortable and made sure the AC was on full blast to compensate for the Luxor heat. Highly recommend this tour.
