Wonderful tasting evening with Magy, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and the street food delicacies of Cairo. We learned a lot about how locals eat while enjoying fantastic food. Magy is a great guide and adjusted the tour on the fly based on our food interests. Highly recommend, you are in great hands.

Her passion for sharing her culture and community through foods and stories really impressed me. I throughly enjoyed walking through a vibrant market, sampling over 30 foods from a breakfast place, bakery, pastry shop and getting a taste of a life in Cairo! I’d recommend this tour to anyone curious about Egyptian foods and seeing the real Cairo through eyes of a local.

What an incredible tour! This experience with Magy helped me to see an authentically local side of Cairo and Egypt that I never would have experienced otherwise. I tried so many new and unexpected dishes, drinks, and desserts with tips and cultural learnings around every corner. The tour was amazing. Magy took us to vibrant local neighborhoods to try so many different kinds of local food. We got very full. She was very genuine and generous with the tastings. My husband and I were a bit worried about getting sick before we went but we were completely fine.

Это был замечательный вечер! Мы попробовали столько вкусной египетской еды! Хаваши, малахэя, кашери - это только то, что я смогла запомнить!) Амаль рассказала и про завтрак, и про обед и ужин и припоавляла всё историями про быт египтян. Было так здорово всё это попробовать! Мне очень понравилось, что мы ходили не в какие-то пафосные места для белых гринго туристов, а в настоящие кафешки и лавки, в которые ходят местные. До этого, я смотрела на это со стороны, но стеснялась спросить, но теперь-то я знаю названия блюд, и обязательно попробую зайти и поесть их самостоятельно! (Особенно кашери и малахэю) Плюс вы попробуете местные напитки и сладости. Какой был чудесный кофе в арабском стиле, очень насыщенный специями, мне дико понравился! Однозначно рекомендую, если хотите попробовать что-то настоящее, не придуманное специально как заманушка для туристов.

Assolutamente incredibile! La nostra guida è stata molto perspicace, condividendo le sue esperienze e le differenze nella cultura dell'Egitto. Il cibo era incredibile! Sono ancora così pieno un giorno dopo. Non posso consigliare questo tour abbastanza. Apprezzo anche avere una guida femminile in quanto sentivo che era più con i piedi per terra e con esperienza.

Il cibo era ottimo. Amava vivere la parte non turistica di Giza. La nostra guida ha influenzato il mio punteggio. A volte non riuscivo a capire se era infastidita con noi (o con l’altro viaggiatore che ci accompagnava) o se le piacevamo. Mi sentivo come se giudicasse tutto quello che dicevamo o quello che diceva l'altro viaggiatore così ho taciuto. Se riesci a superarlo allora questo tour è per te perché il cibo è stato un'ottima introduzione al cibo egiziano.
