We enjoyed this food tour very much. We booked the local option and so glad we did. Food was very tasty and every stop was a surprise with so many options to choose from. Our guide Sarah was passionate young woman who was very flexible with us and made sure we tried everything we wanted.

This tour was the highlight of our trip to Cairo. Our younger two kids (aged 6&8) were so engaged and were gently encouraged to try new foods , our 8 year old discovered he loves eggplant and our 6yo loved all the fava bean dishes. Our teen is autistic and struggles with sensory overload, the guide was so encouraging and understanding and engaged her in conversations. She was hesitant to go on the food tour but declared it one of her favorite activities during our two week trip! Would suggest making this one of your first experiences, it really helped us to understand food we wanted to order again and made for a great first day in Cairo.

Сначала я немного нервничала, но Magy прекрасно знает своё дело. Каир — невероятно красивый город, а еда здесь просто восхитительная. Я однозначно рекомендую этот тур. Приходите подготовленными и голодными — потому что еды очень много. В конце мы уже не могли есть, но всё равно продолжали гулять и смотреть вокруг, потому что это было чудесно. И да, девушки — одевайтесь скромнее, иначе сразу видно, что вы турист.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Cairo food tour with Magy. She took us into neighborhoods we never would have discovered on our own - not another tourist in sight. We felt like we got a good, authentic taste of life in Cairo. There were so many delicious stops. Just be sure to pace yourself - we were SO full by the end we couldn't eat another bite! Magy was lovely; very warm and engaging. She even hailed a taxi for us at the end and paid the driver since we hadn't changed any money yet. I would 1000% recommend taking this tour with Magy!

I highly recommend this food tour! My sister and I had a fantastic experience with them. They were very interactive and responded to questions quickly. The tour itself was impressive and well-connected, so many options to taste and great local restaurants selection . It gave us a local immersion experience, not just a typical one. I would definitely use The Amazing Tourist again!

Un eccellente tour gastronomico con la più cara delle guide - Maggie. Eravamo un gruppo di 7 la notte che era la dimensione perfetta. Il tour inizia con un viaggio nel retro di un vecchio furgone attraverso uno dei più incredibili vecchi tunnel come ponti diretti al cuore del quartiere di Imbaba. Sembrava un altro mondo rispetto al centro del Cairo. Maggie ci ha intrecciato dentro e fuori dalla folla e dai locali di cibo senza sforzo. Lei era un ospite meraviglioso per il tour di 3 ore in cui abbiamo assaggiato quello che sembrava una quantità infinita di cibi. Abbiamo avuto un tempo meraviglioso.

Magy is such a gem and provided such a uniquely crafted, beautiful, TASTY and FILLING food tour! We explored multiple different neighborhoods and feasted (yes it was a feast) on local Egyptian cuisine. Magy provided context, tips, and personal stories behind each dish, making the tour so special, and went beyond just a food tour. I’d HIGHLY recommend booking this food tour with Magy! Her hospitality is unmatched, as is her taste for amazing cuisine! Also, if you haven’t realized the theme throughout my review, please come with an empty stomach and be ready to have a feast! Thank you Magy for such a memorable experience!

La nostra guida Magy è stata eccellente! Abbiamo fatto colazione, pranzo e cena con ottime spiegazioni di ciò che mangiano i locali ci ha portato in molti posti tipici, ha chiesto di allergie e tipi di cibo che volevamo provare lei ha fatto Ottimo lavoro di catering il tour a ciò che volevamo si è concluso con dolci favolosi il mango fresco è incredibile! ! ! disposti Nd aperto a farci provare gli organi carni abbiamo provato il cervello e il fegato!
