04 Days - 03 Nights Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor
We enjoyed very much with Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, part of our 14 day trip from Cairo to Aswan to Luxor and back to Cairo. Our guide for this part, Mahmoud Hassan, was a real expert with a degree in Egyptology and he knew his stuff! He never tired of my questions and is a real professional. His explanations were not only in detail, but included speculative suggestions as to what was behind the story. Without him, we could not have got as much out of the tour as we did.
The accommodation on the boat was comfortable but we did not go only for the cruise, however, we were very well looked after, the food was excellent, the sun deck very pleasant.
Value for money in February? Couldn’t beat it and I would thoroughly recommend Luxor and Aswan Travel, first class!

Viaggio fluido, efficiente, affascinante.
Viaggio molto fluido e confortevole con guide e servizi eccezionali (incluso il ritiro all'aeroporto, la registrazione in hotel). La guida del Cairo Hoda e l'autista Ehab erano professionisti. Il loro coordinamento era perfetto: abbiamo visto molto, ma non ci siamo mai sentiti affrettati o abbiamo trascorso del tempo ad aspettare. Lo stesso vale per Massoud, un egittologo molto noto e riconosciuto. che ci ha accompagnato nella nostra crociera da Assuan a Luxor. La sua profonda conoscenza ha portato a tour affascinanti verso siti dalla diga di Assuan alla Valle dei Re e tutto ciò che è degno di nota nel mezzo.
La logistica del viaggio è stata impeccabile, la comunicazione con la direzione è stata semplice e abbiamo ricevuto risposte rapide a qualsiasi richiesta. Ci sono state fornite istruzioni efficienti ed esplicite e ci siamo sempre sentiti a nostro agio. Non abbiamo lamentele, solo elogi per Luxor e Aswan Travel!
Una nota: sebbene la nostra nave, la Blue Shadow, fosse bellissima, pulita, avesse cibo eccellente e personale adorabile, eravamo un po' infastiditi dal fatto che l'orario fosse stato modificato dopo l'imbarco perché a bordo c'era un grande gruppo che voleva andare ad Abu Simbel (un tour facoltativo), quindi il nostro tempo libero è stato aumentato a un'intera giornata. La nostra partenza è stata poi ulteriormente ritardata perché il gruppo è rientrato tardi. Anche se siamo riusciti a vedere tutto sull'itinerario, abbiamo trascorso del tempo ad aspettare e poi a correre.

Questa compagnia è la ragione per cui torneremo sicuramente in Egitto
Abbiamo trovato Luxor e Aswan Travel attraverso un blog di viaggi e inizialmente pensavamo che saremmo stati riuniti in un gruppo con alcune guide attraverso i monumenti.
Questo è stato totalmente diverso e ha trasformato completamente il nostro viaggio in Egitto in un'esperienza assolutamente unica. Avevamo una guida privata e meravigliosa, Safwat, che ha spiegato la disposizione dei templi come un bellissimo giardino eterno, ha spiegato come riconoscerne le scene e i significati, ha dato suggerimenti meravigliosi e in generale ha aumentato il nostro interesse per l'antico Egitto oltre ciò che avevamo previsto potrebbe accadere.
Abbiamo chiesto di partecipare a esperienze di acquisto specifiche (alabastro, spezie, ecc.) e Safwat ci ha portato in luoghi in cui ci siamo sentiti rispettati nelle nostre scelte e nei cambiamenti di opinioni, ci ha persino aiutato a negoziare e ci ha portato in meravigliosi ristoranti. Alla fine abbiamo prolungato il nostro tempo con lui per una seconda mattinata sulla sponda orientale di Luxor e ancor prima di tornare abbiamo già iniziato a pianificare quando saremmo potuti tornare in Egitto.
Nel nostro ultimo giorno, la compagnia ha fornito il pranzo e il trasporto all'aeroporto. Anche il nostro autista a Luxor, Mostafa, è stato molto gentile e disponibile, ci siamo sentiti completamente al sicuro e presi cura di noi.

Nile River Cruise Review (Blue Shadow Boat)
This is a fantastic way to visit the historical sites along the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. The cruise includes a private expert guide for your group that will stay with you throughout the course of your travels. We had Ahmad - he was excellent! I loved that I didn't have to think about the logistics of how to get to each of the temples or how to reserve tickets. Having a guide explain the significance of each of the ruins makes a huge difference. There are dozens of boat options to chose from depending on your budget and time availability. I was on Blue Shadow and thought the boat was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The food was okay and the staff were extremely friendly. I'd recommend this experience to anyone considering visiting Upper Egypt.

Aswan and Luxor cruise
Luxor is an amazing place! We had the best time, learned a lot of things! Our guide, Waleed is very well informed, educated and with very good use of English! He had a lot of patience and made a very interesting plan! The cruise was nice , with nice views polite and friendly staff, the cruise ship was clean and had nice food. In Aswan we had nice time too, not so many things to see but we had a nice boat trip.

Highly recommended
We embarked on the Esmeralda cruise ship. The cabins and overall facilities were really up to standards and beyond. The staff were all really hospitable and friendly.
Our tour guide walleed was really knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us out with locals.
We were chauffeured to and from the ship in nice and clean SUV vehicles.
Highly recommended.

Amazing Family Experience!
We recently completed a 7-day trip that included the Nile river cruise and a couple of days in Cairo. Overall our family including our kids (6 & 8) had a great experience with the trip that Luxor & Aswan Travel had planned for us. We’re from the United States and at no point during our visit did we feel unsafe or concerned about our security. Our drivers and tour guides made the visit straightforward and smooth. In particular our visit to Aswan and Luxor was the real highlight of the trip.
Highlights to note:
- Our Egyptologist tour guide in Aswan & Luxor, Mohamed (Momo), was an all-star! His knowledge, demeanor and interpersonal skills were all exceptional! He led us through all of the sites by highlighting the key points, giving knowledgeable context and navigating around the crowds. As we toured the temples and tombs we would stop at selected key spots and give the story behind the specific spot (e.g. carving, tomb, pylon, etc). At the end of each temple visit we would have free time to explore on our own and take pictures, which allowed us to focus on the narrative during his tour. Also, his approach was great at keeping our kids engaged and enjoying the trip as well.
- The sites selected as part of this package were all of high quality and curated to hit the most notable ones. We had decided to spend an extra day in Luxor afterwards to do the West Bank II tour (Hebu Temple) and tomb of Nefertari. This was our favorite day of the entire trip and would recommend it to others as well!
- The river cruise boat, Acamar, had very nice facilities, food and friendly staff. We enjoyed the entire time while on the boat and the crew were very focused on ensuring we had a great experience.

Great trip !!!
A perfectly organized cruise, excellent ship Jaz Viseroy, good cuisine and service. We received a lot of positive emotions thanks to our guide Mustafa, who professionally and carefully organized our visit to the magnificent monuments of Ancient Egypt. I would also like to thank manager Hany for the excellent information support.

Sight-seeing ancient Egypt in comfort!
Ashraf has a wealth of knowledge about the ancient Egyptian civilization. Because of his work as an archeologist, he has a lot of hands-on experience and is knowledgeable enough to answer any question you give him! Moreover, his tours were amazingly well-managed and all the beautiful locations we got to see we were in time.
Ashraf joined us on the amazing cruise itself, and we had great discussions with him that deepened our understanding of Egypt’s heritage, something we appreciate very much. All the staff on-board were professional and friendly. The arrangements for the cruise went very easily and the activities themselves went flawlessly.
