Inclus

Long day but worth the trip!

We booked this trip to Cairo with Achmed, would recommend the tour and excellent 10/10 tour guide, very knowledgeable We covered soooo much in one day, pyramids with camel or carriage ride, GEM museum and Nile River trip, it was definitely worth the money! Achmed was excellent at making recommendations and helping negotiate with prices for gifts, he told us what not to fall for with people by the pyramids which we really appreciated. He even opted to take us on a city tour to show us around before going to the airport as we had spare time, there was no rush all day and could take our time and plenty of free time to explore too Good tour company and guide

Pyramids and NEM....what a day

Absolutely incredible. We certainly got lucky with Dr.Hesham as our guide today. What an outstanding and highly knowledgeable man who took time to explain the important aspects of the Pyramids and the NEM. It was a lot to take in and my brain is tired off the experience but if you're going to travel to do this, please ask for this man. I cannot fault his knowledge, humour and courtesy today. Mohamed our driver was fanatic, full of smiles and always waiting for us. I have loved this experience and it has made our time in Egypt magical. Thankyoy Dr.Hesham

Cairo Pyramids a must visit.

Overall good experience. Guide was excellent. Tour was worth it. Only thing was a proper guideline around visa process and associated fees should have been shared with customers especially those who visit directly to Sharm El Sheikh and also plan to visit Cairo.

Great experience

Booked the day trip from Sharm to Cairo via plane through getyourguide. Our tour company was Book Tour Egypt and we were kept updated with all pickup details etc. We were at Sunrise Remal so we were the first pickup at 0315hrs which meant a 0230hrs get up!! Flight was 0530hrs so we were in Cairo for 0630hrs. We then met our guide Jimmi and our driver. Being driven through Cairo is an experience in itself!! Visited The Pyramids of Giza first and was there early before it got too busy. A fantastic experience with plenty of time to look around and good knowledge from the guide. It was very hot but we had a constant supply of cold water in the tour bus. Next was a buffet lunch in a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids. Lovely food but drinks were extra. Onto the Grand Egyptian Museum. Again another fantastic experience and we were able to skip the queues. Again lots of free time to look around and explore. 3 hours in total but it's that big it's impossible to see everything in that time. That was then the end of the arranged itinerary. We still had a few hours to kill so we paid 10 euros each for an hours river cruise along the Nile. We were also taken to The Papyrus museum where we had a demonstration as to how it was made. They did try to pressure you to buy products but a polite no worked. However can't say the same for the perfume factory where we were also taken. They gave a demo of various fragrances and medicinal lotions and oils. After this came the very hard sell and you felt very pressured into buying something which we did. It was only later when I researched this that it was clearly a scam where the product sold was probably cheap rubbish. This was the only disappointing aspect of the trip really given that our guide took us there. Apart from that overall it was a fantastic probably once in a lifetime experience.

Happy

I booked this excursion for my daughter and myself and we had an amazing time. First off its a very long day our pick up was at 4.40 am. We were taken to the airport and when we got to Cairo we were met by our guide. We were driven to the pyramids. Along the way our guide explained all we were seeing along the way. Once at the pyramids our guide was very helpfull taking pics keeping the scammers at bay and explaining everything to us in great detail. Afterwards we were taken to a perfume shop given drinks and shown diffrent perfumes with no pressure to buy. After this we were taken to a restaurant and the food was top notch..after this it was off to the GEM. Once again our guide was very helpful in explaining all we were seeing and last but not least a boat trip on the Nile..Like i say its a very long day but well worth it
