Luxor - A Once in a Lifetime Excursion
We have always been happy with our Viator trips, byt the visit to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple was breathtaking and awing. Our guide Ahmed Azusa was knowlegeble and professional. He took us to a lovely Egyptian restaurant for lunch where we sat under a canopy of trees and ate delightful Egyptian cuisine as we looked at the rural landscape beyong.
The drive to and from the ship was long about 3 hours each way, but it gave us a chance to admire the landscapes along the way.

Very good guide and we had a fantastic day
Anxious about the long drive from the port to the sights but we had a full day and weren't rushed when visiting temples and sights. We got along with our guide George Edwards and he explained everything very well. Lunch was good and in a local restaurant. The drive although long was comfortable.
All in all a fantastic day.

Unreal tour with a fabulous 5 star company and guide
George (sp) was incredible bringing to life this ancient history. So easy to understand and showed us things a broader group could never experience. Ashman, the owner, treated us to an incredible lunch, and our driver Aman was extremely accommodating. There is no better way to experience Luxor than this group, choose no other.

Simply the Best
Absolutely the best. Great helpful friendly English speaking guide, competent driver, interesting Egyptologist, wifi available in the spacious car, all for the 4 of us.
Valley of the Kings and the Temple was fantastic and lunch was special.
Would strongly recommend this trip, 10 times more special than the cruise bus tour and it returned an hour earlier as a small group can move quicker and has more flexibility. Great to learn about Egypt today enroute.

Best tour of our holiday
We were picked up at the ship at the arranged time by our driver and his co-driver (they drive from Luxor to pick you up and return home to Luxor after returning you to the ship in Safaga so co-driver essential). Driver was excellent and the co-driver spoke good enough English to tell us about places we passed through.
We were provided with water on the journey and the lunch on the felucca was home cooked and delicious. There were many dishes and more than enough food.
Our tour guide Iman was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He also listened to what we wanted to do as we had visited Luxor before. Even when we revisited places Iman found things to show us that we had not seen before. His explanations were fascinating and made ancient cultures come to life.
Our driver Abdullah (totally excellent), Ash the organiser, Iman the guide and all the other members of the team we met made us feel really welcome, at ease and by the end of a very long day they felt like friends.
All promises made were met and the tour was well worth the money.
We intend on returning to Egypt after the new Cairo museum opens and we will be contacting Ash to potentially organise the whole trip. This was the best tour we did during our 3+ week cruise!

Amazing! 100% Recommended
This is going to be long, lol.
We did a cruise, and they sold out of their Safaga excursions, so we had to find a tour ourselves. I reached out to a couple of companies through TA before finding Luxor Private Tours - and immediately, this company rose to the top as the best fit for us.
First, I must say that communication on WhatsApp was Incredible. Ash (the owner of Luxor Private Tours) was very friendly and helpful. From the moment I reached out, they were highly professional and willing to structure the tour to meet our needs. The communication was on another level, not only the first contact but all the way through our experience. Everything was exactly as they stated: booking, paying, picking up, sightseeing, and dropping off. This was an important area of our vacation, and we wanted to see everything, and they exceeded our expectations.
Ash greeted us, and our driver (Abdu) picked us up inside the gate area where only tour buses were allowed. So we didn't have to do anything other than walk off the ship, see the sign with our name on it, and hop in the car. We had a private air-conditioned vehicle with lots of room. From Safaga to the Valley of the Kings is 3 hours, but we made it there in a little over 2 hours by car - our driver was GREAT. We picked up Ayman (our tour guide) along the way.
Ayman was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and had a real passion for explaining the places we were experiencing. He was super friendly, and many people told us throughout the day that we had the best tour guide in Safaga. I honestly believed it by the end of the day. It was all the little details he added that made it so fun.
Our day consisted of going to the Valley of the Kings,
the Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut),
the Tomb of Ramses III,
the Tomb of Merenptah, and other tombs. Then we drove to see the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, one of my favorite parts of the day, and then we went to the Valley of the Queens, and the tomb of Nefertari was probably the best tomb of the day. It was so well preserved. Then we drove to
Colossi of Memnon for some quick photos. Then we had a fantastic lunch on the Nile. They went above and beyond for lunch. I thought lunch was for ten people, but Ash smiled and said, "This is all for you, my friend." We had a feast of seafood, Egyptian food, beer, and wine, and it was incredible as we sailed down the Nile drinking, laughing, and having a good time. As we sailed, we saw Luxor Temple and other fantastic architecture. After lunch, we went to the Temple of Karnak,
where we saw the Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut,
the Temple of Ramesses III,
the Obelisk of Thutmose I, and the Avenue of Sphinxes. It was truly unique. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to write this one because I feel that Ash went above and beyond for us, and it was a vacation of a lifetime. Thank you so much!!!

Incredible tour of Luxor!
This was an incredible tour to the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch on the Nile. Ayman is an excellent tour guide who is incredibly knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and we came away with an even greater appreciation of the relics we were so fortunate to see. Ash, the owner of the tour company, met with us during our visit and he was so kind and communicative with me throughout our initial booking to the end of our tour. Last but not least, Hamid was our driver. He was also very kind and if I ever find myself on another Egyptian road, I would want him at the helm. Thank you all again for a wonderful and memorable trip to Luxor, we really appreciated your warm hospitality!

Awesome memorable experience in Luxor
We had an awesome trip. Ash organized the excursion in a manner that we could maximize our time in Luxor. Transportation and tickets to all the major historical attractions were included in our excursion. Our guide Mohamed was excellent with his explanations of the various historical places we visited: Valley of the Kings, Karnaks Temple, Temple of Amenohotep, Hatshepsut Temple, Alabaster Factory and other exciting places. Our trip provided adequate time for us to enjoy the experience. We didn’t have to concern ourselves with fees for restroom use because fees were provided. We had a fantastic lunch while sailing on the Nile River. Our driver was very skilled and provided safe transportation to and from cruise terminal and to all our excursion destinations. We felt safe the entire trip. I. highly recommend this tour and tour company. Thank you Ash for giving us a memorable experience in Luxor.
