We had a great day trip...

We had a great day trip seeing the sights around Luxor. Ahmed, our driver, got us to Luxor before the tourist crowds and pointed out the sights on the way, and always had snacks and drinks at the ready. Said, our guide, was so knowledgeable about Egyptian history and really brought it to life. The transport was also lovely, very comfortable with A/C, wifi, charging ports, and a tv. 5/5!

Great VIP day trip to Luxor

Had an amazing day with Ahmed our driver and Said our guide. We were picked up nice and early and were the first tourist bus to reach Luxor thanks to Ahmed's driving skills. It was a luxury trip with only us and Ahmed on the trip. Said told us so many interesting facts about anything Egyptian. Cruised the Nile then enjoyed lunch overlooking the river. All in all a great day trip highly recommend it.

Whistle stop tour of Luxor

We honestly had the best time on this tour, the driver was amazing. He got us into Luxor first before the mad rush of all of the other mini buses coming from Hurghada. If you want to get into Luxor first before the huge masses of crowds arrive I'd recommend this tour. The guide was equally impressive, his knowledge seemed endless and could answer any and every question thrown his way. It's a busy day, which can feel rushed at times so I would bare that in mind, if you wanted more time to explore the different temples then I'd recommend staying in Luxor and going at your own pace. Also the Nile boat trip is an extra add on but pretty much compulsory, the other option is to sit in the mini bus for 40mins...  There are also two stops one to a papyrus making factory and the other an alabaster factory, both of these stops are just the typical tourist traps, although they never pressure you to buy anything obviously the tour company has a deal and earns commission for bringing customers. I imagine every tour company will do the same however.  Overall a very good day, we managed to see a lot. The group was only 6 people so feel like a more personal tour, the snacks, ice cream and drinks from the driver was an added bonus and shows they pay attention to detail.

Thomas & Melanie

VIP experience

Picked up on time, knowledgeable driver, special expert guide (Said) for the archaeological side of the trip, both spoke perfect English. Free onboard WiFi, phone charging, and even complimentary snacks! We were given free cola, crisps, and even ice cream after we melted at Karnak. There were only 4 of us in a very comfortable minibus so it was all very much like a private tour rather than a group. Just beware, nearly all the toilets you will encounter charge about 10E£ to use them, but Ahmed the driver even gave us change for these when we had none. Also watch out for hawkers and any locals that try to "help" you, like taking phones out of your hand to take photos and then demanding payment, but that's just Egypt. Temples of Hatupshet and Karnak breathtaking, the valley of the kings was also interesting but obviously all the good stuff is in the Cairo museum and all you can see are the wall frescoes. Lunch was also a lot better than expected, a buffet where we helped ourselves, and no flies! Definitely would recommend this tour. We got there before the main crowds swarmed in and back at the hotel in time for food.
