A very memorable day and definitely worth doing
They kept up stocked on water and snacks throughout the day, the AC was much needed after walking round in the hot weather and every effort was made to ensure we were having a good time and were comfortable. Even making every effort to get there first so the sites were quieter and more enjoyable.
The sites we visited were amazing and rich in history and our knowledgable guide Said had extra details about every place we visited or passed on the way.
After a good lunch we enjoyed a relaxing boat trip and the other views of the temple it offered.
Said knew the best tombs to visit in Valley of Kings so definitely go with his recommendations and he knew exactly where to point you so you didn’t miss anything and you got the most out of the experience.
They fit as much as they possibly could into the day and make the trip worthwhile. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Best experience for first time travellers
Akmed’s day trip to Luxor from Hurgada couldn’t have gone smoother and as our first time in Egypt it couldn’t have been a better experience. Pick up was just as described, Akmed provided drinks and crisps all day in the mini van, lots of information and at each stop told you exactly what to do to navigate through the hawkers, how much it would cost to use the toilet, exact timings to expect, and gave a running commentary on Luxor until we picked up Said our English guide at Karnak. The mini- van was modern, great AC, movie screen if you wanted, comfortable and for this trip even though there was just 6 of us, still two drivers.
Once we cleared the obligatory waiting for convoy across the desert (460 vehicles all lined up and waiting for papers to travel) it was a race to the first stop- a toilet / coffee break and boy was Akmed and colleague determined to be the first there- which meant we were able to go straight in for our break without any crowds. Akmed and colleague were certainly fast but I never felt unsafe and only a quick break meant we arrived at Karnak FIRST more than an hour and a half before all the other coaches from Hurgada. Akmed was there right up front each time we exited a site so no long walks or waiting for the van.
Said our knowledgable English speaking guide was there waiting for us, with another German speaking guide for our German speaking travel companions- so small group personalised and knowledgable- what more can you ask? Well, in addition at each stop Said helped us navigate through the hawkers lining each entrance and exit, gave me some help negotiating a price for a picture, and generally looked after us- so reassuring and all with kindness and humour.
In addition to the tourist sites you will stop in at a couple of stores where you will have a chance to buy- I didn’t feel pressured to buy but be aware this is normal for all tours. Today was papyrus and alabaster.
The ‘extras’- the extended ride was pleasant- worth doing as a break while digesting lunch- and lunch was fine- clean hygienic- used to delivering to large groups- clean toilets. Don’t forget to buy drinks or to tip- Egyptians work hard for their money and service industry workers rely on tips- small amounts go a long way for them.
A wonderful first experience in Egypt and Luxor which I know will be the highlight of our trip looking back.

Toller Ausflug mit ausgezeichnetem Team von Ramashka Tours
Ahmed und sein Team machen einen phantastischen Job. Superpünktliche Abholung im Hotel um 4.30 Uhr in Hurghada, Rückkehr um 19.30 Uhr. Es gibt reichlich Getränke und Chips kostenlos als Verpflegung. Durch die rasend schnelle Fahrt waren wir die Nummer 1 am Karnak-Tempel. Unser Ägyptologie Mohammed als Deutsch sprechender Reiseleiter war ebenfalls großartig. Die Tour ist sicher anstrengend, aber unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Mittagessen war sehr gut, die fakultativ Nilfahrt sollte man sich gönnen. Insgesamt ein mehr als gelungener Ausflug und jederzeit gerne wieder mit Ramashka Tours!

Said was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and kind. A lot of the tour is outside so I do recommend walking shoes and a head covering but overall a wonderful experience thanks to Said.

Luxor day trip
Said was our tour guide and he was fantastic ! Lots of knowledge and very friendly. Seen all the sights and learn a lot. 10 out of 10 would recommend !

Journée fantastique à Louxor!
Excellente journée avec les guides touristiques Ahmed, Ahmed et Said.
Nous sommes arrivés tôt à Karnak, donc pas de files d'attente et c'était une expérience fantastique une fois dans une vie.

AMAZING DAY TOUR! would definitely recommend.
Really great experience, would definitely recommend. Ahmed took care of us and got us to the first stop Karnak Temples early so we avoided the crowds. The tour was jam packed with different locations. You definitely get your moneys worth!
Our Tour guide Said was lovely and really informative guiding us each step of the way.
On the way back we watched films and Amed kindly gave us snacks making the travelling easygoing.
So pleased we chose this tour, could not fault the service A***Thank you so much.

Disappointed family
We had a very good experience with this tour operator on Cairo trip and so booked for Luxor. They put us with another operator and the experience is bad right from the pickup, drive, food and lackluster guide.

Ahmed (the driver ) went above and beyond. His car is luxurious and comfortable. Has WiFi , TV, AC and even snacks and drinks. He will provide you with any snack and any drinks at any time of the trip. All nice and cold which is a must on the hot weather. He will make you feel extremely comfortable and he’s very welcoming. We were the first to arrive in order to avoid tourism crowd , so amazing as we never had to queue or sit behind big groups of people. Fastest man on the road 😍😍
Said is an excellent guide , he will explain and tell you all the history about all temples you will visit. More than happy to explain and answer any questions. He’s very knowledgeable.
It’s a must trip to visit Luxor. You will feel like a VIP.
