Los Colosos de Memnón son dos enormes estatuas de piedra ubicadas en la orilla occidental del río Nilo, cerca de la ciudad de Luxor en Egipto. Son todo lo que queda de un complejo de templos mortuorios más grande construido por el faraón Amenhotep III durante el siglo XIV a. C. (aproximadamente 1350-1334 a. C.). Las estatuas representan a Amenhotep III sentado en su trono, y cada estatua mide unos 18 metros (60 pies) de altura y pesa aproximadamente 700 toneladas. Fueron tallados en bloques individuales de piedra arenisca de cuarcita y originalmente colocados en la entrada del templo del faraón. Las estatuas fueron creadas para proteger el templo y representar el poder y la autoridad divinos del faraón.

Ahmed was an excellent tour guide. Very prepared and explained the Egyptian history with lots of details. We felt very safe every momento of our tour. He was at our hotel right in time and the car was in conditions. I recommend Ahmed a lot to get to know Egypt!

We had a great expierience. Mohammed Ali as a driver was very nice and brought us safe and comfortably to the Kings Valley, Temple of Hatshepsut and Kolossos of Memnon. He also provided water and bought us a second round of water as well, so we get a good egyptian price and not the tourists prices. We started at 9:30am and ended our tour at 2pm so we had around 4:30 hours. He always told us to take our time. Thank you very much for this expierience.

We arrived early for the Valley of the King there was no people. Really good advice to go there early. The driver was really friendly. Good experience, we recommend.

Très bonnes visites avec Ahmed de Egypte Lovely Tour Nous l'avons même repris le lendemain pour visiter le temple de Louxor et Karnak Merci beaucoup Ahmed pour toutes ces explications ! Nous ne comprenions pas toujours bien l'anglais mais il nous reexpliquait à chaque fois, top !

He was more than happy to explain everything to us in great detail and took the time to answer all of our questions. Ahmed Abdulteif our tour guide Was a great guide and we really enjoyed ourselves. He is very knowledgeable and able to share it in good English. We are an older couple and he took us at a slower pace and was very considerate. Our driver, Allah, was also very competent. I felt safe in his hands.

We had a great tour. The detail in the tombs in the Valley of the Kings was absolutely incredible. Well worth paying on arrival for the additional tombs too, as they are the best ones. Our guide Ahmed Abdulteif was very knowledgeable with great English and pointed out lots of interesting artefacts. Excellent organisation and time keeping. We were provided with cold drinks throughout the tour, which were very much appreciated. Alaa was a brilliant driver and was very careful and polite, opening doors each time. The car was good and comfortable. Would highly recommend the tour :)
