Overpriced for what it is.
The tour was just okay. We saw some cool things but we paid quite a lot of money for a tour that didn’t really show us much about current or ancient Egypt.
All our other tours have included water and have had the tour guides go out of their way to make sure we have been comfortable. It was disappointing to spend as much money as we did to not have any water for a 10 hour tour.
Lunch was yummy, but it was just fish and rice (and some dips) but no drinks included not even juice. Again disappointing considering how expensive the tour was.
The guide was a lovely person, she didn’t go out of her way to make us comfortable like the other guides do, and she put us in a few situations where we felt entitled to tip people without warning so we didn’t really appreciate that.
Not a bad tour, just not worth the money we spent.

Wonderful, highly recommended
I had an amazing time in this trip. My guide Shaimaa is a wonderful person. She gave me a very swift yet elaborate tour to all the historically important places of Alexandria with very concise and informative descriptions. She arranged everything in a very organized way, and thus I never had to rush to any spot and got enough time to explore all the places in a relaxed way. I highly recommend this tour with Shaimaa to everyone and it can be completed very easily as a day trip from Cairo.

Wonderful day in Alexandria
Shaimaa was an amazing guide. Well knowledgeable, kind, respectful and attentive to my questions. Driver was respectful and punctual. Bought us water, stopped for us to take a break. Alexandria is full of history and a very beautiful city. The food at Branzino was delicious. Loved everything

Tuvimos una increíble excursión de un día desde El Cairo a Alejandría, y todo estuvo perfectamente organizado de principio a fin. Nuestro conductor nos recogió puntualmente en El Cairo, nos proporcionó un viaje tranquilo y cómodo a Alejandría y más tarde nos regresó sanos y salvos a El Cairo por la tarde.
En Alejandría nos recibió nuestra guía Shaimaa, que era amable, profesional e increíblemente conocedora. Nos llevó a todos los sitios principales: la Biblioteca de Alejandría, el Castillo Qaitbay, las Catacumbas, el Anfiteatro Romano, la Mezquita de Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi y la calle. Iglesia de Marcos. Sus conocimientos en cada parada aportaron mucho valor y nos ayudaron a aprovechar al máximo nuestro tiempo.
Un momento destacado fue una parada en un bazar local que Shaimaa recomendó, dirigido por una encantadora pareja egipcia. Tenía una gran selección de mercancías a precios excelentes y parecía mucho más auténtico que las típicas tiendas turísticas.
El almuerzo fue fantástico. Disfrutamos de una variedad de deliciosas salsas con pan fresco, seguido de nuestra elección de pollo o pescado, y el jugo fresco de mango y fresa fue absolutamente refrescante.
Como beneficio adicional, Shaimaa tomó muchas fotos grupales geniales para nosotros durante el día y amablemente las compartió más tarde a través de WhatsApp, lo que fue un toque muy considerado y nos brindó recuerdos duraderos del día.
De principio a fin, este recorrido fue eficiente, enriquecedor y muy agradable. ¡Lo recomendamos muchísimo y, si eliges a Shaimaa como guía, vivirás una experiencia verdaderamente especial!

Viaje cómodo bien planificado y bien ejecutado
Gran viaje de principio a fin. Planeó bien un pozo ejecutado. El conductor estaba a tiempo y fue genial durante todo el viaje. Era divertido y trató de comunicarse con nosotros, a veces utilizando una aplicación de traducción. Muy buena actitud. El guía Shaima nos recibió en Alejandría. Ella estaba muy bien informada, explicó todo bien, hablaba buen inglés, tomó un montón de fotos en el camino, y lo más importante, nunca nos apresuró.

Well planned and well executed comfortable trip
Great trip from start to finish. Planned well an executed well. Driver was on time and was great throughout the trip. He was funny and tried to communicate with us, at times using a translator app. Very nice attitude. The tour guide Shaima met us in Alexandria. She was very knowledgeable, explained everything well, spoke good English, took lots of pictures along the way, and most importantly, never rushed us.
We were initially skeptical about the driver not being fluent in English, but that was not an issue at all. He used the translator app to communicate and made every effort to make us feel comfortable.
Fish lunch was delicious.
Nothing to do with the tour: be aware that the toilets in several places in Alexandria are not very clean, hence plan accordingly. We found clean toilets in the library, but not in other places,

Exploring Alexandria
Hello, my name is John McDonald and I recently did a tour of Alexandria with my guide Shaimaa. I decided to visit Alexandria via a day trip from Cairo. Shaimaa gave me a one on one tour with her showing me multiple spots around Alexandria! Alexandria is a must see if you want to visit Egypt. Shaimaa was patient and gave me ample free time to explore this beautiful part of Egypt. The catacombs were interesting because I got to see how Egyptian people, other than Pharoahs were buried. Then we visited some Roman relics. Alexandria has some amazing history and Shaimaa definitely knows her history! Alexandria library was my favorite because it is located right next to the ocean. Shaimaa would offer to take pictures of me and sent me the photos after the tour. The view of the sea in Alexandria is stunning. Shaimaa and I also visited St. Mark’s church and a mosque. During the tour, Shaimaa took me to a Bazaar (Market) where I got to try and purchase some essential oils. Shaimaa was very knowledgeable and I believe you will be in good hands choosing her as your tour guide!

Very good experience with Alaa; she knows the history of Alexandria. She is very nice and takes the time to explain. Very good experience; we recommend it if you want to spend a day in Alexandria and understand the history of this incredible city.

とても有意義な時間でした。プライベートツアーと言うこともあり、子連れの私たちにはぴったりでした。ガイドのShaimaaさんは、英語の苦手な私たちにゆっくりと翻訳を使いながら対応してくれました。ドライバーさんのMinaさんもエジプトに来てから1番の安全運転の方でした。安心して乗れました。
