Best tour guide of all time, beautiful sites and the food on board genuinely to die for
First things first, Mr ahmed sliem aka ahmed the 2nd, decedent of king Ramses the 2nd himself, is by far the best tour guide I’ve ever had in my life. He knows literally everything about ancient Egyptian mythology, made the whole experience so entertaining and informative. I learnt so much and felt like his briefings before visiting each temple added an extra dimension to the experience. Always happy and cracking jokes, couldn’t thank this man enough for such a wonderful experience. The tour itself was amazing, it’s really hot in egypt so pack accordingly but the views from the cruise top deck while sailing are amazing, visiting each temple felt like I was in a video game. And lastly the food on board! So many options, great variety and great tasting food. Overall amazing experience and value for money. Book Ahmed and the cruise you won’t regret it.

Best Guided Tour and Travel Experience
Booking this changed everything. Not having to think about booking anything, times, where to go or what to see was the best part about it. They took care of everything from start to finish. Mahmoud was our guide for three days and was super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I highly recommend booking with this company as everything was easy and seamless.

Unforgettable experience!!
Luxor and Aswan Travel provided an excellent itinerary and exceptional service from start to finish. The highlight of our journey to Egypt was our guide, Michael Edward. We could not have dreamed of a better experience thanks to him. Each excursion was filled with fascinating history, detailed stories, and engaging insights. Michael was kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, always ready to answer any of our questions or address any concerns. His passion for sharing Egypt’s history and culture made every experience even more meaningful and memorable. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment of the trip. We truly could not have asked for a better guide!! We couldn’t be any happier with our tour and mostly with our guide Michael. He is extremely knowledgeable and he was alway making sure we were doing ok all the time. I cannot recommend him enough, he is such a great guy and I am so grateful we got so lucky. This made our trip to Egypt really special!

1. Cruzeiro: nada a reclamar, barco exatamente conforme anunciado, organizado, limpo, com equipe pontual, refeições bem servidas e de qualidade. Serviço de quarto impecável. Escolhemos o barco Blue Shadow diretamente no site da empresa.
2. Itinerário: contempla os principais pontos turísticos com tempo adequado em cada local. O roteiro foi informado previamente, só não foram mencionadas as visitas à loja de perfumes e à loja de pedras.
3. Guia: destaque especial para o guia Michael Edwards! Excelente profissional, gentil, amável, sempre disponível a ajudar. Oferece explicações claras e interessantes, fala inglês mas também se esforça para falar diferentes línguas. Certamente tornou a experiência do Cruzeiro muito melhor! Recomendo muito!
4. Deslocamento: sugiro melhorias. Há van para traslado até os pontos turísticos e carro privado para os tours opcionais. O motorista do carro particular que nos levou a Abu Simbel dirigiu em alta velocidade e fez ultrapassagens perigosas. Na visita ao templo de Horus foram disponibilizadas charretes e houve um acidente com turistas que estavam conosco. As charretes poderiam ser substituídas por van ou por tuk-tuks caso queiram oferecer uma “experiência local”.
O turista deve ir preparado para pagar gorjetas aos motoristas desses trajetos.

The travel agency was perfect since first e-mail contact until the end of our trip. Evrything was on time including optional attraction which you can book and decide just day before. Especially our guide Mahmoud Hassan was very helpfull and his knowledge of ancient Egipt is hudge. I truly recomend him and the travel agency as well.

Wonderful Guide and Warm, Personalized Experience
We had an amazing time exploring key sites in Egypt with our guide, Ahmed Sliem, on the Princess Farida cruise. Not only did he share fascinating history, but he also created a warm atmosphere of hospitality that supported us throughout the journey. Whenever we needed something, we knew we could count on Ahmed—making it possible to tailor the experience to our interests and needs, including unique touches and opportunities along the way. Most of all, we appreciated Ahmed’s open-hearted spirit and enjoyed learning more about both the remarkable sites we visited and Egyptian culture more broadly.

3 night cruise from Aswan to Luxor
Michael Edward was the best guide we could have asked for! He really took us back in time to learn about the ancient Egyptians. Not only is he very knowledgeable about the history, he is also very passionate and helped us understand what the ancient Egyptians believed at the time. He also helped us bargain for items that we wanted to buy and truly felt like he had our back! By the end of the trip he really felt like family. It was truly an enriching experience and would not have been that amazing if it wasn’t for Michael. Every detail was perfectly planned and organized.

Luxor and Aswan Travel
Michael Edward was our private tour guide from Aswan to Luxor. His knowledge and enthusiasm for ancient Egyptian history made this trip both a great learning experience and extremely enjoyable. Michael is also local to Luxor and was able to guide us to different areas of the city, which added a nice touch. He made sure everything was perfectly organized at all times and handled every request we had with so much effort and care. It truly felt like he was our friend more than a guide. He also did small things for us like ask the cruise ship to have us check out later since we had a later flight. He also continued to check up on us after the trip to make sure we were doing okay. Michael is a very trustworthy, intelligent, and enthusiastic guide who we really enjoyed being with and will remember him when we look back on our time in Upper Egypt.
My only hesitation about the experience through Luxor and Aswan travel, was riding a horse carriage to Edfu temple. The horses were in bad shape. I would recommend the travel agency get a private van to transfer us to Edfu and back instead. Otherwise, no other issues or concerns. It was excellent.
