The Giza Pyramids are one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring monuments in the world, located just outside of Cairo, Egypt. Here's a quick overview: Main Highlights: 1. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) – The largest of the three, and the only surviving structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. 2. The Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) – Slightly smaller but appears taller due to its elevated location; it’s also connected to the famous Great Sphinx. 3. The Pyramid of Menkaure – The smallest of the three major pyramids. 4. The Great Sphinx – A massive limestone statue with a lion's body and a human head, believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a huge limestone statue in Egypt with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, likely Khafre, built around 2500 BCE. It stands near the pyramids and is thought to be a guardian symbol of power and wisdom. Over time, it has been damaged by erosion and sand, adding to its mystery.
The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) is a modern museum in Giza, right next to the pyramids. It displays over 100,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt, with its main highlight being the entire Tutankhamun collection shown together for the first time. The museum also features a giant statue of Ramses II, advanced conservation labs, and galleries designed to tell Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era.

A magical tour accompanied by the sweet and very competent Basma guide. The GEM is spectacular both from an architectural point of view and for the extraordinary collections of statues, objects and treasures. Seeing the pyramids and the sphinx live creates an extraordinary emotion. It is very important and to be accompanied by a guide. I highly recommend.

Our visit was great! Meriem was very nice, funny and accommodating. It was a great day and we got to visit the 1st pyramids in Egypt. It was a private tour so it was just me and my husband which was amazing. If we wanted to do anything or skip anything we would. The plan was tailored to our needs.
